Great coffee maker

The family likes the Kureg for tea and hot chocolate. The milk frothed is a very nice touch. The carafe allows the coffee to get cold faster than my previous maker. That’s my only complaint.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pumped to get this coffee maker, and am hoping I’ll be able to come in and update my review once I get a working unit. But either way, I felt it important to share this with others just in case. Part of the setup process is “priming” the unit. This I consists of running the full carafe setting with just water. About halfway through the unit beeped (not sure how many times) and the bean light was flashing. I contacted Ninja customer service and they did a video call with me, and confirmed it is a defective unit. They offered to send a new one, and have me send them back the old one with a prepaid label. This is nice customer service :). However they won’t send the new one until the old one arrives. Once they send the new one shipping is 3-10 days. I’m debating exchanging via Best Buy- or simply returning the thing altogether because it’s not great to have your brand new $2xx.00 coffee maker not work right out of the box, even if it was on sale and I paid $1xx.00, it still stinks. By the way during the test video w/Ninja I paid closer attention to how many beeps & it was 5, whatever that means.

Ninja Dual Brew

Naturally I was looking for another, but wanted the K-Cup plus carafe functions. I am super disappointed in what I got. This system brews coffee that is lukewarm at best. Every time I go to brew a cup, it beeps and tells me to add water, even though the reservoir is full. I made a cup of coffee on the Keurig here at work and burnt my tongue because I am not used to my coffee being brewed hot anymore. Save your money!
