A Ninja for the whole family
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ll admit right up front that I’ve become a bit of a Ninja junkie in recent years -- from coffee makers, to blenders, to cookware, and miscellaneous kitchen tools -- I’ve been consistently impressed with their practical and smart design. This time around I went for an “upgrade” to an older Ninja coffee system I’ve had for a few years. To be fair, the older Ninja coffee maker is still working perfectly, it just wasn’t K-Cup capable and I wanted that flexibility and convenience and this is a little more compact than my older system. Being able to make tidy single-servings means my wife and kids, who are more casual coffee/cocoa/cider drinkers than I am, can pick exactly what they want and are more likely to make themselves a hot drink. I haven’t been disappointed -- I ran multiple brands and varieties of K-Cups through the Ninja DualBrew Pro, and it consistently kicked out a nice hot cup of coffee at about 160* in the cup. Features that stood out to me are the easy to read display, intuitive and simple touch system -- to cycle through options of how much water, type of brew, and delay brew -- and a “water only” mode where you can pick to dispense hot or boil, which works fantastic for brewing tea bags or if you need hot water for non-K-Cup hot chocolate or other instant hot beverage. The Ninja DualBrew Pro isn’t “small” by any stretch but it’s got a smart design on the water reservoir that lets you choose to place it on the the side for a configuration that’s a little wider but not as deep, OR swing it around to the back for a deeper but sleeker configuration. To top it off -- quite literally -- the Ninja DualBrew Pro has a frother for adding a coffee-shop touch of elegance on your beverage of choice, and then conveniently twists off for easy cleaning and then folds back to stay out of the way when you don’t need it. Although my family will use it almost exclusively for K-Cups, the Ninja DualBrew Pro comes with a high quality carafe and can quickly be switched to brew a full batch of coffee, handy for the upcoming Holidays (for example) when family and friends are over and other situations where it might make more sense to make a whole pot than individual servings.

Love it!!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just love this coffee maker for so many reasons. Love that you can make just one cup (several sizes) or a full pot, with multiple sizes available in between for each. Plus you can use a K-cup if you're in a real rush. Love the option to get boiling water (multiple sizes) without using the stove. Water pitcher is so easy to grab and remove. We no longer use our old expresso maker because we can now make "specialty coffee's" that are as good as our old clunky expresso maker. Ice coffee also comes out great, as does all types of hot coffee we make. We seriously love this Ninja DualBrew Pro.

An incredible machine with 1 missing link
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love this coffee maker! It is easy on the eyes, easy to use, sleek, functional, and has so many options. My husband now uses it for everything…heating hot water, making tea, full/half/quarter pot of coffee. We are thrilled with our purchase. The only thing to note is that the individual coffee maker only will use the plastic k-cups. We have tried compostable coffee pods and it sputters and doesn’t make a solid cup of coffee. We have also read that the reusable pods aren’t compatible either. It looks like Ninja overlooked the ecological options when it came to this machine. If they hadn’t, it would have been a perfect option for everyone.

No regrets! Very satisfied.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simple and sleek design sure to wow anyone. I love how its so easy to clean. The built in frother is fantastic, I now enjoy specialty drinks from the comfort at home for nickels on the dollar. I have zero regret in this purchase would highly recommend. The ability to use any single serve pod is also a plus and the carafe is nice for when company is over as well.

||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent coffee machine - brews exquisitely flavors of coffee come out bold and coffee is smooth. One thing I do not like is the way they made the carafe as it does not keep coffee hot for very long not like their other carafes do. Also I noticed when pouring a cup this morning the the carafe was dripping while pouring. Coffee machine cleans up easily, super smooth transition from pods to making a pot of coffee. Love love love this coffee machine!!!

Excellent coffee maker!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This coffee maker is a fairly big upgrade from my old, standard drip coffee maker—just a basic one with a glass carafe, and the only real “feature” being programmable delayed brew. I like that I have the option to use K-cups, even though I predominantly use regular coffee grounds. And the options for brew strength are great. It makes a better tasting cup of coffee than my old coffee maker did. I personally prefer rich, but classic is good too! The specialty brew option is neat—it lets you make espresso-like drinks (it’s technically NOT espresso, but it’s very concentrated and works good for lattes and cappuccinos). I also use this for my tea almost exclusively—it’s really nice that I can have it dispense hot or boiling water. The stainless steel carafe is great—it keeps the coffee hot for hours, and doesn’t make it bitter like the heat pads most other coffee makers use. The milk frother is nice for making drinks with the specialty setting, and is easily removable and easy to clean—only thing is you will have to heat the milk with a microwave or on the stove first. The coffee scoop is also nice to have—definitely an improvement over digging through my coffee to find the scoop that I threw in the container. It’s also really cool being able to select different beverage volumes—with a traditional coffee maker, I’d have to put just a tiny bit of water in to make one or two cups. With this, I can just select between several different options, and it also means I don’t have to fill the water reservoir every time I want a hot beverage. It also has programmable delayed brew too—it’s really easy to set with the dial, and remembers whatever you used last. In fact, this is easier to use than pretty much all standard coffee makers because of the dial and touch sensitive elements. As far as K-cups go, it’s fairly easy to swap between the drip and K-cup modules. That was a common complaint I’ve seen on reviews of other combination drip/K-cup coffee makers. Definitely recommend this coffee maker, it’s very well rounded, and the build quality is pretty nice. If you like coffee and tea, and/or even eat a lot of instant noodles, this really isn’t a bad purchase. I’ve had no issues, and I’m very happy with it!

Love my coffee
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased a month ago and we have been very satisfied with the coffee maker. Coffee comes out hot and not bitter. Love the water on the side vs the back, it’s easy to reach and fill. The separate hot water is great for tea and hot chocolate. I highly recommend this product.

Nice upgrade and a space saver
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I prefer single cup, hub prefers a pot. This gives us both what we want and saves a lot of space. It felt complicated at first but there are stickers in all the relevant spots that made it easy. Once I got used to it, the stickers came off. Easy to use. Easy in the eyes. And a built in frother.

Watch out for the spike
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have not used the frother but everything else has been excellent. The only concern we have is the pod holder. When you remove the spent pod your fingers can come in contact with the top spike and cause an injury. The top probably needs to lift up higher to keep it away from fingers.

Highly recommended!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well I’ve had this now going on a year, and honestly I a not disappointed with my purchase the coffee maker is used at least once a day sometimes multiple times each day, and has not failed once. We have used ground coffee with filters and it taste great and same with k-cups. The water is always hot as soon as you pour no need to wait for it to heat up for a few minutes. All in all great product my only complaint would be the ice coffee dial. When you place it on 10oz it actually pours half that, and same goes for all the amount in the ice coffee setting. I guess because it’s melting the ice but if it’s only going to push half the ounces then only notate that amount. Once you figure this out you know how to navigate, but at first I did not realize it. I would recommend this product for those looking for an upgrade to their kurig this is a great upscale upgrade. If you’re a coffee lover you will not be disappointed.

Great buy
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive had this for about a year now and it still works great. I like how versatile it is in making different kinds of coffee. I rarely use the pot to be honest and think it does not keep coffee too hot for long, but besides that its been great.

Becoming a Ninja junkie
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the latest addition to my kitchen which is starting to look like a Ninja commercial. This dual brew maker is a very nice looking unit and makes great coffee. I got used to using a percolator that I switched to from a Keurig machine so was worried this wasn’t going to produce flavorful enough coffee. Glad I was wrong! The coffee I get from k cups is better than any other Keurig or K cup machine I have tried. I love that I have multiple choices. I can make a single cup using a k cup or a filter with a scoop or 2 of fresh ground coffee, or can make an entire carafe if serving multiple people. I will most likely never use the frother but hey it’s there if I ever want to. The hot water dispenser is fantastic for teas and oatmeal plus the water comes from a separate nozzle free from any potential coffee contamination. If I had any reservations it’s that I chose this model over the same model with the glass carafe that has a heating plate. The glass with heating plate is advertised to keep the coffee warm for 4 hours vs this steel carafe which is advertised for 2 hours. The glass carafe is dishwasher safe and the steel is not. I am not enough of a connoisseur to know the real benefits of the steel carafe the glass as far as taste or whatnot. This is where the k cup convenience comes in as for my needs the carafe is only used for guests and I can set it down on the table since the outside stays cool to the touch or when me and Mrs are home together in the morning and the 2 hours is more than long enough. Every other time we get our fresh hot cups using the single serve function. Only other gripe would be that the coffee could be hotter. Don’t get me wrong it’s hot enough but definitely not as hot my prior Keurig machines or percolator. Still a fantastic beautiful machine. I chose this cause it was a higher end model and was on sale cheaper than the glass carafe version. I have no real regrets and love the machine.
