It's a nice unit overall, but there's definitely some frustrations! Even though I went through the cleaning cycle setting it up, on occasion even when the water is full it tells me to add water... sometimes it works great, sometimes not. I've never had a coffee part need such troubleshooting and for that, it makes it pretty average at best... especially considering the price. Getting the Nepresso cartridges is a bit of a pain as well and looking back I probably would go with a Keurig unit.

This unit is, what amounts to, average for the purpose it's supposed to serve. I uses the original Nespresso capsules and has an integrated "dump box" where the capsules go when they're spent. However, this only happens when you go to load the next one, so you may get yourself into a situation where a spent capsule sits in the machine for a long time. It'd be better if it kicked out the capsule immediately after usage instead of waiting for the next use. The water reservoir is a bit confusing at first - it's not necessarily clear that you can fill it up to full and just use it as you need to; the markings on the side make it seem like "to do X, fill to here" as though you'd need to keep re-filling for various brews when this is, thankfully, not the case. The warming tray for the carafe is not as customizable as I'd like; I wish I could leave the carafe in and turn on the tray any time after brewing, but alas the warming only accompanies an actual brew cycle. So if you want the tray warming, you have to brew coffee. The frother doesn't heat your milk, only froths it - so you have to heat the milk separately, then froth, then use it in your drink. All-in-all, if you drink all your potted coffee w/in a few hours of brewing, or you do espressos *frequently* (and don't mind "buying in" to Nespresso capsules), this is a good unit. If you're an "all-day" drinker or have an espresso only once in a while, you may want to look elsewhere.

I really like this coffee machine. Three things that could be better...Filter is large - even if you have just a cup of coffee, you waste a lot of filters. Second, it seems to drip even after you close it or it beeps to let you know it is done, but still drips. 3. When the machine is out of water, it lets you know - great! But be careful if you continue brewing a cup or a pot - you need to reset it to a smaller amount or it will run over

Amazing machine. I dont mind the noise that other people mentioned. Only complaint that I would give 4.75 stars instead of a full 5, I realllly wish the plug was flat. For a countertop appliance that typically always stays plugged in, a flat cord makes more sense as right now the cord sticks out nearly 3” from the wall making it difficult to have anything sitting by the coffee pot or pushing your coffee pot out further than it should be so as not to damage the cord.
