I’m so glad this item exists!! It has two 5qt chambers that have so much space inside. It give you so many cooking options and allows you to cook each side as if they were separate or you can choose to match them and cook on the same setting with the same cook time. It has been so convenient and such an energy saver so I don’t have to waste electricity heating up my oven to cook something small. Best part is the food is cooked quickly, without oil unless you want to spray some, and comes out crispy (when using air fryer mode as desired)! This is a purchase I have not regretted at all. Note: to keep it as clean as possible I did purchase some silicone inserts which have still allowed the food to come out as desired. Also, it’s large (which is fine by me) so rather than having to take it out or put it away, it has earned a permanent place on our counter since we use it so much for so many different foods! Enjoy! And try to buy it when a deal is going on if you can! PS. My pictures show it brand new on our counter but that was 2 or more months ago! It’s bigger than it looks and takes up a decent amount of space but it’s worth it.

This Ninja air fryer exceeded my expectations. The DualZone feature lets me cook two different foods at once, which is perfect for family meals. Everything cooks evenly and tastes great. I use it almost daily — chicken, vegetables, even reheating food works better than a microwave. Easy to use and easy to clean. Worth every dollar.

First time using the temperature probe we were able to get a medium rare Prime Rib edge to edge. Perfectly browned crust underneath the broiler too. It's also surprisingly really really easy to clean, since both baskets fit into the dishwasher. 11/10.

I’ve been extremely impressed with the Ninja Foodi 6-in-1 10-Quart XL DualZone Air Fryer. The dual basket design is a real game changer, allowing me to cook two different foods at the same time with independent temperatures and settings. Easy to use and cook two different things at the same time with different temperatures and settings. This is a large air fryer but still doesnt take up a ton of space on the counter. Is light so if you have to move it before and after use you can. Best part is no more waiting on oven to pre heat.

There are a few constants every fall: pumpkin spice, football, and a new batch of kitchen gadgets and gizmos from Ninja. Over the last week, I have been testing out the Ninja Foodi Smart XL 2-Basket Air Fryer (DZ550). The device is basically two air fryers in one. The Smart Cook System helps ensure food items cook the same in both trays or that each tray finishes cooking at the same time. Over the last week, I have air fried frozen fish fillets, French fries, and chicken strips. I have roasted a chicken, made pork chops, and baked mini calzones. Cleanup could be simpler, but the food I have made has come out well. If you are in the market for an air fryer, I think the Ninja Foodi is a solid pick. Setup: In the box, you get the Main Unit, the probe, nonstick crisper plates, and two nonstick baskets. If you are concerned with countertop space, the air fryer is about 15.5 inches wide, by 13 inches tall, with a depth of around 14 inches. There are small tabs on the back near the exhaust fans to keep the unit from resting completely against your wall or backsplash. Experience: I started off simple: frozen fries and chicken strips. And they worked well. It was nice to be able to cook both at the same time and with smart finish, they finished cooking at the same time. Many frozen items now come with air fryer instructions, and I found those instructions worked well. I cooked battered fish fillets, and they came out perfect. They cooked quicker than a conventional oven and they cooked better. After the simple stuff, I decided to try my hand at some of the recipes included with the instructions. I roasted a 4lb chicken and the skin was super crispy while the meat was nice and juicy. This was also where I encountered a small glitch. I made the chicken with roasted potatoes. The dishes were supposed to finish at the same time, but the potatoes were done well before the chicken. I really enjoyed the chicken, but I was limited to a 4lb bird because anything much bigger probably wouldn’t have fit inside the basket. Next, I made pork chops with butter squash and green bean medley. Both the chicken and the pork chops used the smart probe to get the meat to my desired doneness and both times, the probe worked well. Cooking the pork chops to medium well worked perfectly. The pork chops were juicy and tasted great. The squash and green beans were bland. But I guess not all the recipes can be winners and that was clearly more of a recipe gripe than a problem with the air fryer. Using the bake function, I made small calzone pepperoni pockets. They baked up well. I guess my biggest problem with the unit is cleanup. The crisper plates and the baskets are supposedly dishwasher safe, but Ninja will tell you that “to extend the life of your basket, we recommend hand washing them.” I really enjoyed the pork chops, but I could make them just as easily in the oven and my baking trays are dishwasher safe. So, there’s a balancing act, do I enjoy making a dish enough with the Foodi that I am willing to deal with the cleanup. For a few items, that’s an easy yes, but for others, I will probably stick with the oven. Conclusion: I have enjoyed the air fryer over this last week. I’ve eaten well. The roasted chicken was very impressive. The pizza pockets baked well. The smart probe worked well and helped my pork chops cook to the perfect temperature. I see myself using this air fryer mostly for fish fillets, chicken strips, and fries. But I look forward to trying new recipes in the weeks and months to come. The Ninja Foodi Smart XL 2-Basket Air Fryer works well and you can makes some really good dishes with it. If you’re okay with handwashing the baskets, I think you will find a lot to love in Ninja’s latest air fryer.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *****Review***** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have owned my fair share of air fryers, from Ninja Foodi, Bella Pro to Philips, and I have to say, this one is great if you need to cook a lot of things at different temperatures and fast. First and foremost, it heats fast, crisps nicely, and cooks evenly and thoroughly. The unit is extremely quiet compared to the other units I’ve owned - I can’t even hear this one when I have my tower fan on. I also appreciate that the unit stays cool, especially for a dual fryer. I found this unit can hold quite a bit of food in each basket. I was able to pop in 15 dino nuggets and a good serving of fries in each. It filled up the basket about 1/2 of the way; I could have easily thrown more nuggets and fries in. To get into the features, I really like that it has a digital screen instead of a dial; it takes the guesswork out of temperature and time. It has two settings, one for each basket and they can be set independent of each other and use the “Smart Finish” to make sure both baskets are finished at the same time. For example, if one basket is timed for 15minutes and the other basket is set for 10minutes, basket one will start first then the second will kick in when 10minutes remain. Aside from that, the presets (Fry, Broil, Dehydrate) are typical for a Ninja. I do appreciate that they are independent buttons rather than a single button/cycle function. I did notice that the temperature range on this one is far wider than any air fryer I’ve seen to date. 105F~450F - I can’t imagine when I’d use above 400 but the option is there. Also, the inclusion of a thermometer is a nice touch, especially if you plan to cook raw meat. The basket and rack are lightweight and non-stick so oil was very easy to wash off even after it was cooled down. In saying that, I did find the basket design could be better because I like to dump out the content if it’s a lot of small biters like fries, pizza rolls, popcorn chicken, chicken nuggets, etc.. Because this unit has a rack instead of a removable inner basket, if you pour the contents out, the rack may come out with it. Although I found that if the rack is firmly pushed down, this does not seem to happen. I also think some features could be improved. Compared to my previous air fryer, it does not have a preview window - which I found really helpful because I didn’t have to open/close the basket to check on food. My previous air fryer also stopped running when the basket was removed - this one does not have this feature. It’s not a huge deal breaker but because I have young children, it would be nice to have this as a safety feature, just to make sure that my kids don’t get burned or injured if the unit continues to run without the basket. This is the air fryer everyone I know wants and I finally got it! I could not be happier. I love the double drawer and all the different features. It makes cooking so much easier (and I am not a fan of cooking believe me). Clean up is easy. I purchased 6" round pans to go inside the drawers if the recipe calls for that and that works perfectly too!

I love my air fryer, it cooks great! This is a great way to cook healthier. The food comes out as though it's fried, but without using grease. It's easy to use and enough to fit a whole chicken in a compartment. You can cook 2 different things at the same time. It looks great when placed on the counter

I find the Ninja-Foodi 6-in-one 10 qt. XL 2-basket DuelZone to be one of the most helpful smart cooking devices I have ever bought. It supplements or replaces cooktop and oven use for most veggies and meats I cook. It saves my time and my energy both of which I highly value. It surprises me with each use as the food has a better flavor while preserving the vitamins and minerals of the foods. I use the cooking guide that came with the unit all the time. It is the first air-fryer etc that I have ever owned. I wash it by hand most of the time unless I am really tired. Then, I add it to the dishwasher. I find it incredibly easy to use.

Love this product! The possibilities are endless. Having two zones to cook two different things at different temps different ways is awesome. Not having to preheat an oven in this 100+ summer heat has been so nice! I haven’t tried all the features yet but so far have baked, air fried, reheated, and roasted and have loved it. Only wish there were specific recipes or a recipe book that came with it to help gauge more accurately what temps and length some things should be cooked for. So far it’s been a lot of trial and keeping an eye on the baskets. Which is fine! You have to keep tossing and moving your food around to ensure it’s evenly cooked anyways. Do yourself a favor and get some parchment liners. It makes clean up a breeze.

I recently replaced my old Ninja Foodi with this 6-in-1, and honestly, I should’ve done it sooner. I used the air-fryer feature on my Foodi about 90% of the time and the pressure cooker maybe 10%, so this was the perfect switch. And wow—what an upgrade! The dual baskets are a total game-changer. I can now cook two completely different foods at two different temps and times without playing “kitchen Tetris.” Or, if I’m feeding a small army, I can make a whole lot of one thing at once. Either way, dinner gets done faster and easier. I also bought the basket liners, and let me tell you… cleaning this thing became so easy it almost feels illegal. Highly recommend grabbing those. On top of that, I scored this for the cheapest price I’ve ever seen—even better than Black Friday. And the built-in probe? Huge bonus. My chicken has never been happier… or juicier. The very best air-fryer I have ever owned. It also bakes, broils, roasts & dehydrates. I have not used all the features since I have only had for about 4 weeks, but have baked & air-fried to perfection. Food tastes great So easy to clean. It is awesome that the dual zone function has both your dishes done at the same time. Best of all, my 17 year old grandson makes his own snacks now.

My 4 or 5-year-old air fryer still works great but it's small. This was a great sale price and has a great capacity. I like that it has a temperature probe and love that it can sync up the timing of the cooking between the two baskets so they will finish at the same time. But it doesn't make anything as crispy as my old air fryer; everything still cooks very nicely though. Some good recipes to get started with (don't mind the spelling and grammar in a few spots). It is easy to use once you get past a possible slight intimidation factor of all the buttons and lights. It seems to us that these are just presets for time & temp anyway and they don't really alter the actual way the unit cooks, so it almost doesn't matter which one is selected if you're going to manually make time & temp adjustments anyway. What I am trying to say is that is is easier than it looks :)

This cooks well. The temperature probe works as advertised and its nice to be able to air fry two different things at once. If you tuck your air fryer toward the back of your countertop and drag it forward to get access to it, the unit has little rubber feet which fall off and are almost impossible to put back in. Also, cooking drawers latch very lightly, so you cant grab those handles to move this thing as they just pull out at the slightest tug.

This Air Fryer has to be the best one on the market. It has two large baskets that are controlled, heated individually. You can cook an entire meal at the same time.
