Had a pressure cooker but not always happy with the cooked and not browned or crisp results. Nice to be able to crisp after cooking. Best buy also had the lowest price.

This thing is amazing. Definitely use it a lot more than I thought I would, mainly as an air fryer, but have a few other menu items im going to try.

This is one of those kitchen products that can actually replace a number of different gadgets in my house. Its a Slow Cooker, Air Fryer, Pressure Cooker, dehydrator, baking oven, steamer and more. It is a true all rounder. In the week that I've had it, I've used it 4 times to make dinner. Its handy to just use one device, and a device that is fairly simple to use and since it's compact it heats up fairly fast (compared to say your oven) and doesn't overheat your house (like an oven would) which is nice in the hot summer. Setup Take it out of the box and plug it in. Read the directions and more importantly the recipe book including to get an idea of what/how to cook with times. Honestly should take you about 10 minutes to setup on your counter and while it does come with a decent like electrical cord I wish it was about six inches longer so I didn't have to move things around on counters to use. But compared to some kitchen appliances, its not a super short cord which is really nice. Use First I used it to cook a whole chicken following the recipe. I chose mostly because I had a whole chicken, but also to just get an idea how this would work. First you pressure cook the chicken. The pressure cooker top is fairly easy to install on the top and setup. Once the lid is on you set how long you want the pressure cooker to go and that's it. No dealing with the stove and watching to balance the heat like you do with a stove top pressure cooker, just I want this to cook for 30 minutes and walk away. The only other gripe I have is when it reaches pressure and properly starts the count down for your time the beep when its done isn't loud and if your not semi-paying attention it might be an issue. Now it will keep things "warm" but in this instance Ninja recommends you quick release the pressure. So keep an eye on it. Once the pressure was released you drop the lid and crisp the chicken skin and the chicken in general. Worked fairly well, though I missed the note recommending removing the left over cooking liquid from pressure cooking, so I'm sure the crisping would have been better without the extra steam. However in the end I had easy fully cooked chicken that was very nice and didn't require a lot of work, easy to clean up, only a few minutes and simple dinner. Next I tried the pressure cooker with beans. Following the recommendations I found it again easy to use the pressure cooker and get the beans I wanted without any fuss, plus it didn't burn the bottom like I have done in my stove top pressure cooker another win. The next night I made some lentil soup following a recipe I have. Used the pressure cooker to quick cook the lentils and then the sauté function to keep the soup bubbling and cooking as I added potatoes to bolster it. It was nice, even and again simple to clean, something that can get messy when I use a pot. I am impressed. If you have the space on your counter this is a very handy device that makes cooking easy and allows you to expand out. Also if you don't want a lot of gadgets in your house, this combines a large number into one which is a plus. I'm very happy with this and I think you will be too.
