I paid for a brand new product and upon receiving it was refurbished. Everything on the foodi was scratched up and looked used. I am sure I will be exchanging it for another but to pay full price and received a used product. Not too happy. FedEx also delivered the product to my building and the box was beat up. So unsatisfied

I don’t now why anybody would want to buy this item. It’s useless and does not cook food well at all. I would not even use this item if I received this item as a gift. Worthless, heavy piece of metal that is not worth the time to use. Food tastes like metal and food looks crappy!

Garbage. This has burned more meals than I care to talk about. The pressure cooker setting has been weird since day 1. Returning for instant pot

I have been using a traditional pressure cooker (whistle style) for many years. With the recent craze in instant pots I finally decided to try this out since it includes the other craze, the air-fryer. This device includes many other features, some of which I have not tried. Overall, it's a nice device that comes feature packed in a nice looking set-up. It is definitely large, but you are replacing at least 3-4 other appliances and being 8 quarts its not massive. Easy to use right out of the box with a few extras included. Pressure cooking: I was skeptical about the jump from classic to modern, even with many long-time pressure cooker users making the jump. In general, this pot performed well. The end results were 70-80% similar to the original recipes. The biggest issue came down to tenderness and consistency. These areas have some major room for improvement but this is more likely user specific. I still prefer my traditional pressure cooker but for first time users, this is a solid choice. Air-frying: Does as good of a job as I would expect. In the end, you have to change your expectations from traditional frying. In the name of health you get crispy-enough results. Any loss of flavor really stems from the lack of an oil bath. However, once you get used to it, I find it very pleasurable. Now I can enjoy some fried foods more often without the guilt. Slow-cooking. Very happy. I am really glad to combine so many devices in to one. Slow cooking is one of my favorite ways to meal prep. This device does a fantastic job and don't have much to say. As good as a stand alone. Steam, bake/roast, broil, sear/saute: Steams vegetables well but does take a little extra time than my old steamer. Broil is a nice feature but it doesn't compare to an oven. Baking was faster but less even than a regular oven. Sear and saute is great to do one pot cooking. Yogurt/dehydrate: haven't tried yet. I really enjoy the dishwasher safe parts which may it easy to clean and less stressful during meal prep. Overall, think this is a solid device for most users, good quality, and looks good. I'm not convinced myself yet but I am happy with it.

I was so excited to use this air fryer but I got a defective item because it glitches. The timer glitches and it turns on and off on its own.

Most people will be perfectly fine with the original one but for those families that may be like mine...where leftovers don’t ever exist this will be a much needed size upgrade. This is an all in one appliance giving you so many options. It makes cooking time feel less like a chore I’m trying to squeeze into an already hectic day. Definitely worth trying this out but keep in mind if size isn’t a huge importance you can go with the previous model and still have all of the great features in a smaller size.

Outstanding Pressure cooker & Air Fryer!

We have been using Ninja products like Coffee Brewer, Blender, Food processor for more than 2 years. We were looking to buy a pressure cooker from Ninja due to the quality products they make. Currently, we have a 6qt pressure cooker and air fryer. It is really a big pain point to use both products and we were spending a lot of time to clean after cooking. Ninja - Ninja Foodi 8qt. 9-in-1 Deluxe XL Pressure Cooker & Air Fryer is an excellent addition to our kitchen offering 9 different functions Pressure Cook, Air Fry/Air Crisp, Steam, Slow Cook, Yogurt, Sear/Sauté, Bake/Roast, Broil, Dehydrate. Ninja Foodi is heavy and relatively big as well to accommodate XL 8-qt pot. It came with 45+ recipe chef-inspired cookbook, 5-qt. ceramic-coated Cook & Crisp Basket, 8-qt. ceramic-coated pot, Crisping lid, Ninja Foodi 1760W main unit, Pressure lid, Silicone mitts, and Stainless steel deluxe reversible rack. We do a lot of family gathering with more than 15 people and XL 8-qt allow us to cook very quickly for larger crowd and XL 5-qt. Cook & Crisp basket gives the option to cook for a smaller group. The XL 8-qt. ceramic-coated pot is nonstick and PTFE/PFOA free. It is very easy to hand-wash. The XL 5-qt. Cook & Crisp basket is ceramic-coated and PTFE/PFOA free. This nonstick basket is dishwasher safe and holds up to a 7-lb chicken. We have cooked BBQ Chicken, Chicken tenders and it came out really crispy and tasted really good. We have been using the Ninja Foodi pressure cooker every day to cook various food. We have tried a few recipes provided in the cookbook and came out really well. We are impressed with results came out of this pressure cooker and air fryer. Being a user of other Ninja products, I can tell you that this pressure cooker exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this cooker to anyone and it will be definitely a great addition to their kitchen.

    Great purchase, although not perfect...

I have had this since 2020. The only flaws I found are: 1) The slow cook option has only 2 settings slow for max of 8 hrs and high for max of 4 hrs..if you need a specific temperature not possible, if you want to cook for longer hours you have to check your watch and reset. B) It's hard to clean the attached lid of the frier (almost impossible) C) The lid the fryer can't be detached and when using the other lid (for pressure cooking, for example) the attached lid has to be raised making it impossible to fit in your counter, so you need an independent and additional space for it. Other than that this machine is unbreakable and lasted me for a long time. I use it a lot and the interior with my careful handling it's almost intact. I'm sure the manufacturer can figure out how to improve these flaws in the newer models. I hope.

What else needs to be said it is a Ninja, love it, aure fryer works just as good as the preassure cooker, Reason for not being perfects is, it has two lids one for air fryer and the other for pressure cooking in addition size is too big, hard to gind a good spot in a medium size kitchen.

So I don’t use this air fryer like I thought I would BUT HEAR ME OUT. I thought I’d use it to make all these amazing full course meals like they try to get you to do with the recipe book. (When I started out I did do a lot of the recipes and they are some of our favorite. The tacos are f amazing). How do I use it? I use it every other day it seems for rice, the air fryer is great for rehearing pizza and leftover chicken because the microwave destroys chicken. Also, I’ll use it to steam veggies and what not. It fit an entire LARGE turkey on Christmas. The air pressure lid actually makes the capacity closer to 9 quart if you want to live on the edge.

The Ninja Foodi is a great addition to our kitchen. It is pretty easy to use, whether you want to air fry, bake/roast, or broil something. Clean up is easy. It does take up a lot of counter space and you will have to find a place to store the pressure cooker lid. Overall this is a great appliance to have and i would recommend it.

Absolutely LOVE our Foodi! It literally lives on our kitchen counter as we use it almost daily. Air fried tator tots are the best! Also tried a few of the recipes from the included book. We have a family of 5 (all big eaters) and we always have leftovers. So convenient and easy to use... even for a non-cook/kitchen person like myself, who never used to cook before we got this!
