Had the ninja foodi when it first came out. (January 2019) I highly recommended it to all my friends and co-workers. I wouldn't stop raving about it. However, after 2 years, midway of air crisping some steak, I received an error. After turning it on, it immediately displays ERROR8. I called customer service and basically they can't help me. They told me to it's a malfunction on the main unit so they can't fix it or trouble shoot it. Offered me $150 plus tax to replace the main unit. After complaining, the rep dropped it to $75 plus tax. I forgot to mention, the replacement unit will only have a 90 day warranty and if it breaks, they can't offer me anything else. I was extremely disappointed. I was better off buying the item from another retailer such as Best Buy where I can purchase extended warranty. Overall, it's a wonderful unit. You can steam, pressure cook, air crisp, saute, slow cook, and dehydrate just about anything. However, just be aware that it breaks easily and you would most likely have to replace it every 1.5 to 2 yrs of use. Warranty through ninja is only 1 year. Also note that we don't use it daily. We use it about once every 3 weeks to a month if that. So if you want to make the investment, make sure you purchase extended warranty through best buy. They have the best warranty service on everything in the store.

After 6 months of lighly using this appliance, mostly as and air fryer, this item no longer functions as a pressure cooker. Basic recipes listed on the website are not pressurizing after 45 minutes of "pre" flashing on display. All seals are clean and attached correctly but it no longer works as described. No response from the company on a replacement or adequate fix. Avoid this brand.

Do not purchase this piece of junk. We have had it a year and only used it a hand full of times and the pressure cooker function do not work. Lid error and all pieces are basically brand new. Apparently this is a common problem. We will be going back to the reliable crock pot as they work and last for decades at the fraction of the cost.

DO NOT BUY!!! Quit working after a year and 1 month they will not send a replacement. It had a ERR08 which they said you just need to order a new one.
