We purchased this to replace the exact same model, the new one was just a little updated. The fryer works great and get used almost daily. The problem was the plates were wearing out on the original one and the cost was high enough to justify purchasing a new fryer. Again the first one was used hard for a very long time and never gave us one problem so that is what all small appliances we purchase are ninja brand.

Perfect for apartments on condos. Controls take a minute to understand. The thermometer is great for thicker steaks or chicken breasts but plan to use manual mode without it for thinner burgers or meats.
