Engine blew in less than a year.
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Less than a year old and the engine is fried. In making a smoothie as we always have, the engine began to whine and smoke. We quickly unplugged the blender and found that the plastic was melted.

Compact Blender for Smoothies, Frozen Treats, Dips
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Make smoothies, frozen fruit yogurts, almond butter, peanut butter, black bean dip, frozen drinks, and numerous other special blends with the Ninja – Ninja Foodi 1200 WP duo. The Duo comes with a power cup and a power bowl. The smartTORQUE technology enables the blade to blend through multiple textures of frozen fruit, vegetables, oats, seeds, nuts, etc. The power bowl even has a built-in scraper that with a manual turn of the bottom of the bowl, all of the thick mixture is easily released from the sides. The Ninja Foodi Power Nutri Duo is programmed with four different automatic ‘Auto-IQ’ blending programs. It also has a manual start/stop and pulse just like traditional blenders. The Auto-IQ programs are just that -- automatic. If you wish to extract more tough or fibrous vegetables and fruits, the Extract setting will automatically start, go through the intensity that is needed in order for Extracting to be successful, and then automatically stop. The other 3 Auto-IQ programs are Smoothie, Spread, and Bowl. Each are timed and programmed with the intensity of the blending needed for each task, and each automatically stops when the blending is complete. In the box is the smartTORQUE Base, one (1) power nutri cup with a travel lid, one (1) power nutri bowl with a storage lid, and the Blade Assembly that works on both the cup and the bowl. There is a 1-year warranty on the base. I drink protein shakes for most of my meals and this has allowed me to add a little something extra or special to the shake without a great deal of effort and cleanup. I like the smart Auto-IQ programs and all four programs seem to yield the intended results. The bean dip was delicious and the almond butter almost perfect. Probably the strawberry frozen shake remains my favorite especially during these hot days. A recipe booklet is also included in the box and it gave me new ideas that I had not thought of while using an ordinary blender. I was asked to test this product and give it an honest review. The power of the blender is just what is needed for the majority of any drinks, spreads, etc. It is very easy to clean up and there are not a lot of parts to be bothered with storing in your kitchen. The only problem that I have at all with the blender is that the diameter of the bowl and cup are just a little too large for my hands, and it is a little difficult for me to get the blade assembly unscrewed from the container. Next time that I am out I am going to pick up a large “gripper” and I think that will solve the problem. Besides the one flaw that has as much to do with my lack of a grip, this is a super blender for making quick drinks, spreads, frozen yogurts, etc. I definitely recommend it if you do not want all of the attachments, etc. that come with most blenders, but you just want to make smoothies, healthy treats, dips, and protein meals. Take a look at this because I think that you will find it to be a great buy!

Ninja Foodi Power Nutri Duo is AMAZING!!!!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Received my Ninja Foodi Power Nutri Duo Smoothie Bowl Maker and Blender a little over a week ago and have been enjoying it since. At first I had no clue as to what a smoothie bowl was and actually had to Google it to find out. This thing is amazing. Upon opening the box you will be greeted with 2 Power Nutri 24oz Blender Cups, 14oz Power Nutri Bowl, Spout Lid, Storage Lid, Hybrid Edge Blade, and the Motor Base. Also included is the usual user documentation including a Ninja Foodi Power Nutri Duo recipe booklet. I've mainly been using this at work with my kiddos. They have enjoyed coming up with some pretty creative things to blend up into smoothies. The cool thing about this is that you can use whatever types of frozen fruits and toppings that you want. I prefer using frozen strawberries, bananas, and blueberries. Simply follow the steps in the user manual exactly as they say. Like you only pour your liquid to the Liquid Fill Line (in which we used Apple Juice). Next we added all of the frozen ingredients (strawberries, bananas, and blueberries) to the Max Fill Line. Add the Hybrid Edge Blade attachment and flip the 14oz power bowl upside down and place onto the Motor Base; turn in counterclockwise motion to lock it in place and you're ready to blend. Make sure you select the correct button of your preferred consistency. Sometimes when using certain blenders, there's ingredients that don't get fully blended or mixed well, and the Power Bowl has a solution to that in the form of the Power Paddle. This clever addition helps push things down to ensure everything is mixed well. Whoever thought of that idea, thank you!!! I've not really used the included 24oz cups, but I imagine you would blend your ingredients as you normally would with the Power Cups and use those for on the go or storage. But this Power Bowl is amazing. Lastly, clean up is a breeze. Just add a couple drops of dish soap along with warm water, add the blades, and lock it in place on the base and blend; almost like it self cleans. Rinse and put away or set up for your next Smoothie Bowl.

Best Buy Selling Used Goods as New

Loud But Mighty
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the 2nd one I’ve purchased! I really love this powerful blender! I have used my 1st one every single day. Loving the smoothies I’m making in it. When it says to fill the Fruit up to the 12oz line on the travel/blender cup, do so. Otherwise it has problems blending. (I use frozen fruit) no problems if filled to the specified directions. It is a little loud. Should come with a set of earplugs. But boy, this little machine works great!

Easy to use with lots of power at a good price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lots of power in a small package! It does not take up a lot of room on the counter. I use this mostly for smoothie bowls several times a week and am impressed with the way it blends; it is also easy to use and clean. So far so good for me!

Love it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Ninja. My first smoothie blender died after 10 years. The new one is everything I hoped for. Breaks up frozen fruit without any problem. It’s loud, but that’s to be expected if you want the power.

Go Ninja, Go Ninja, Go!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In case you couldn’t tell from the title of this review, I’m a Ninja fan. And if you didn’t catch the 90s reference to Vanilla Ice and the Ninja Turtles, check it out, it’s awesome and hilarious! But onto the actual Ninja product. I already have a Ninja Blender/Food processor/Spiralizer and a Ninja coffee maker…so I am familiar with their products. I’m also trying to eat healthier and having smoothies/protein shakes is a helpful way to fill you up and get lots of good stuff. The Ninja Foodie is a throwback to some other products out there…except this one actually works. It’s got some power behind it and pulverizes the contents for a super smooth drink. I haven’t used it for smoothie bowls (not really my thing), but I have no doubts that it will work perfectly for that as well. There isn’t really “set-up”, you fill the cup, put on the top, and go. Clean-up is super easy though, I just toss it all in the dishwasher and call it a day. Love this product and use it daily!

A Beast of a Personal Blender!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Ninja Foodi Power Nutri Duo is one great and powerful machine. My family drinks smoothies most mornings and this machine delivers. Throw in your frozen fruit and liquids and hit the button. The machine, while loud, goes to work and blends smoothies better than any machine I’ve used before. For thicker blends, the special Power Paddle lid makes it so simple to push the contents towards the blades. Speaking of the blades, these things rock. They chop through ice and don’t break a sweat. The machine comes with several cups and lids making it easy to make smoothies for the whole family. Cleanup is a breeze using the top rack of the dishwasher or toss a drop or two of soap in and blend it clean. We haven’t ventured away from smoothies yet, but are excited to try making our own peanut butter soon. I have no doubt this little machine can make it easy. With the included recipe book, you will have no shortage of things to try. I absolutely recommend this device for anyone who loves smoothies and easy clean-up.

Like a jumbo jet in the kitchen!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, really the ONLY downside to this little machine is the noise - this thing is like a jumbo jet trying to take off from my tiny kitchen (so much so that my Apple Watch pops up with a noise alert within seconds of me starting the blender). I am by no means a smoothie expert (9/10 times I just throw random things in a blender to experiment with tastes), but this thing works wonders. Within 60 seconds (aka, hitting the smoothie button), it reduces a cup of frozen solid fruit, baby spinach, and whatever else I throw in there to a delicious liquid. I am someone who prefers my smoothies to be Greek yogurt based (gotta get that protein in there!), and it did take a little longer to blend those smoothies than the ones made with milk, but nothing terrible. I haven't gotten the chance to do much with the smoothie bowl (yet!) but I look forward to experimenting with some nut butters in the near future, and the recipe book that comes with it has some tasty looking smoothie bowl recipes to try, too!

Very Compact, Works Great, LOUD!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right out of the box, I was immediately struck by the size of the Ninja Foodi Power Nutri Duo. It's perfect for my limited counter space as its footprint and overall height are nearly 50% smaller than the old blender I'm trying to retire. The included blender cups with fill lines and recipe guides/loading hints have been great (as long as no one loses them!) The only con I've got for now is that its power comes with some volume. All blenders and food processors that I've ever used are loud. That said, when I made my first smoothie after a morning run, the Ninja Foodi Power Nutri Duo had most of family jumping out of bed coming to find out what on earth was going on! The smoothie program lasts about a minute with a few early pulses to mix things up and then a couple longer stints to smooth-ify the whole thing. The results were delicious, but I did have to share the final product with everyone because they were now wide awake. We've agreed that bedroom doors get closed first if I want another early morning treat!
