Was great for a year, then stopped recognizing coffee filter and begin to display only tea options.

We really, really wanted to love this machine. The features are amazing and we love what it can do. We've made everything you possibly can. The issue? The hot stuff isn't hot. Our coffee and tea is only being brewed at an average of 153 degrees - coffee should be around 190. We aren't sure if it's just our machine that has a glitch but sadly, it's going back. So disappointed.

Good quality tea and coffee maker. Cold brew is a nice thing to have but doesn’t seem like it’s a finished product.

We absolutely loved ours but right after the one year mark is owning it it suddenly stopped working.

Started leaking everywhere had to buy new coffee pot.

Was good for 3 months. From there, water tank leaks if any water is left inside for longer than a few hours. First leak caused substantial damage to new cabinets as we set timer and expected coffee in the AM. Instead we woke up to a large pool of water on counter, but also water had seeped into underside cabinets which have warped. I took this experience as maybe user error, but in the last 6 months, no matter what, this unit leaks. No hard water, we run self clean regularly. I missy Mister Coffee 12 dollar machine. This is junk. For now, we placed a large, deep dish to collect water when it leaks so the granite and counter isnt soaked. That should not be the purpose of this device.

The ice coffee feature is strange my ice actually melts so much I got it specifically for that reason and was disappointed. But the cold brew feature is amazing and I resort to that instead. Haven’t really tried anything else just the ice coffee and cold brew but I had to give two stars because it makes water downed ice coffee.

Unhappy with this purchase, the second Ninja coffee maker I'd purchased from Best Buy. There were mechanical problems with the first one I'd bought a few years ago (and so I returned it). I was happy with the Cuisanart coffee maker I've been using for years but finally wanted something different. The Ninja Hot & Cold Brew was well reviewed, but for whatever reason, the coffee it made was extremely bitter; this was true with both paper and reusable filter and with different brands of coffee. Finally returned it and got another Cuisanart.

We purchased this coffee maker thinking it would be an upgrade to have the cold brew option. The cold brew is not actually cold. It melts all the ice and ends up being watered down. Also, the automatic drip stop comes on too soon, leaving the grounds flooded with water. We should have just stuck with the older model that we already had.

The water temperature isn’t hot with each cup. Lot of money but only makes coffee and tea.

If you’re looking to buy this coffee maker only buy if you really want to make tea! In that aspect it’s phenomenal but on the other hand if you’re more interested in the coffee aspect don’t buy it at all! The coffee is very watery my old ninja did way better on the coffee side if I didn’t trough the box away I’d return it!

While I love my Ninja, I'm not buying from Best Buy again. Before I purchased it showed a 4 day delivery. Once purchased, it then showed 10 days delivery. It took OVER 3 WEEKS TO GET MY ITEM!! I'm done with you, good luck. Btw, I purchased it on 12/26 not 12/29 as indicated below.

Buyer beware product will have a leak at the bottom of the water tank. Use a gasket to solve the issue. When using the tea maker it will leak out the side and get all over the hot plate.

Takes over 10 minutes to make a single pot of coffee.

I bought this as a replacement for a previous generation Ninja Coffee Maker that broke when moving. I have had nothing but trouble with this one. The coffee pours around the side of the pot in addition to where it is supposed to, so every morning I have to leave a towel under the coffee maker or else it pours all over my counter and floor. When it does work, it never creates a full pour. The cold brew option is nice, but it’s not worth the trouble this machine has making a standard cup of coffee.

This was a replacement for my last Ninja system and this one would NOT brew coffee right out of the box. We tried running the cleaning cycle, tried various brew cycles and nothing worked. We returned it to Best Buy, they were kind and it was simple. We are still debating what to purchase, assume this was just bad luck because we LOVED our old Ninja and it served us well.

This ninja coffee maker isn’t all that it said to be. That’s why I returned it and then bought the more expensive model. I know it’s a ninja but it did not through cold coffee as stated.

This is our second Ninja. The first started leaking water from the reservoir all over the counter and floor. We replaced with this one and within 3 months its doing the exact same things. When you fill the reservoir, it leaks all over the counter. A quick Google search shows MANY people have the same issue. Other then that, it makes great coffee.

If I could leave a zero-star review, I would. The removable water reservoir randomly excessively leaks out of the back even though I usually fill it up when still connected. Tea basket leaks and fills directly into the cup (doesn't steep just basically filters water over the teabag into the cup). Great concept, terrible engineering.
