The only con when making smoothies is how loud it is. It's shockingly loud! However, it works great and it's not bad enough to deduct a point.

We’ve used it for blended drinks and cauliflower rice. Easy to use and easy to clean. Wish it were easier to get a grating attachment but that’s not much of a complaint.

Food processor is better than I expected. Only caution I have is to be very careful cleaning the blades, extremely sharp. Caught it on deal of the day for 99 dollars. Great deal.
