it is a close between a 4 and a 5. the reason it earned a 4 instead of a 5 is because it feels cheap built too me but it works phenomenal and amazing crushing ice for smoothie (I know it is winter but we love smoothie).

I really like my Ninja even though I have not explored all the ways to use it. It's just me and my son, so the single serve containers are great. I make a normal smoothie for him (actually he does it himself, he's 17) then I make mine. I am trying to incorporate more veges in my diet so I hide them in a fruit smoothie. It's very safe to use, there's a locking mechanism so you won't lose a finger. Just be careful when cleaning those sharp blades, if you rinse after use it's easy.

Only owned for about a month, but it has exceeded all expectations. Does everything we need, quickly and efficiently.
