Add a little ice to dressings and serve the cooled dressings immediately. Awesome protein and fruit shakes. easy to clean and operate.

The Ninja used a "tree" of extremely sharp blades that run the height of the blender jar. You would think it would blend anything you put in it... and it does... to an extent. Blending skinned fruits for smoothies results in smoothies you have to chew. Blend for one minute or ten -- doesn't matter. I exchanged this blender for a more traditional design and am much happier. I was excited to have a blender that could also make dough and slice veggies, but there's a reason the Ninja design isn't common.

Great Christmas gift

We got a great deal on it. And she loves it. I just wish that it had been shipped inside another box. It was shipped in its original box so she knew what she got no need to wait until Christmas before opening.
