it was a gift so we did not open it for a couple months after buying a great deal. now i wish we had. it was definitely used nad broken. with a separate piece that should have been connected...

THE BLADES ARE MADE WITH VERY POOR QUALITY MATERIALS I HAVE TO LET IT GRIND MORE THAN 4 MINUTES, THE BLENDER GLASS IS OPAQUE NOT TRANSPARENT IT LOOKS LIKE I HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR YEARS, I LEFT MY REVIEW UNTIL TODAY I WANTED TO VERIFY THE QUALITY OF THIS VERY BAD NINJA BLENDER PURCHASE I DO NOT RECOMMEND

I bought this for my mother with the intention that it would possibly help alleviate some of the clutter in her kitchen because of all the independent kitchen tools she has, blender, food processor, mixer, that type of stuff. She was a little apprehensive saying that she didn't want something new to learn but after she used it the first time she could not believe how amazing it was. She has used it for everything from making smoothies and milkshakes to processing whole pumpkin for pies to making cookies. She absolutely loves it and says it's probably one of the best gifts she has ever received. I like the fact that it's powerful enough to blend anything that she needs to blend and that it's simple to use. We were able to replace five of her kitchen appliances with this. I wish that I had got her something like this years ago.

Best blender I've used so far and it came with the smaller travel/individual cups for smoothies!

Have had for only 2 years. Have not used more than a dozen times. I always had wash and never put in the dishwasher. Pitcher is wrecked. Food is getting in under where blade holder attaches to pitcher. I should have spent the extra money and got a vitamix. A new pitcher is as much as I spent on the blender.

Great blender. Just recently bought & so far I have used it only to make smoothies & it does a great job on that. Seems very powerful. Has very sharp blades because I cut my finger on one trying to wash it. Directions indicate to be careful as blades are extremely sharp! Looking forward to using it for many other kitchen tasks. Only downside so far is that it is really loud.

Overall, this is a great product. My wife uses it nearly every morning. She has to be sure to shut the door to the bedroom, because this thing can be heard across the house, as it’s motor is exceedingly loud. That all being said, this is quite a powerful unit and works great. The only drawback other than the noise that we have noticed is that if you are blending in the single serving cup, whatever you are blending gets caught on the inner threads, and it makes it difficult to remove the lid at the end of the day. You have to rinse water in and out of the cup, to partially clean at the edge, to take off the screw lid. If you are not in a hurry, you can always use a paper towel, to pre-clean the threads before you screw your lid on..
