Really thoughtful design meets really crappy tasting coffee. No more buying Ninjas for me. The first one I purchased was the 12 cup. That one resulted in bitter, undeveloped coffee. And so did this single serve offering, except it was even more watered down. I used filtered water. I tried three different coffee types - grounds from PEET's and Amazon, and a pod from Dunkin'. Yes, all quite fresh and bought especially to use with the Ninjas. I used the classic option and brewed between 10 and 12 ounces using the suggested amount for grounds, then a little bit less, then a bit more...to get the exact same result. Underdeveloped and weak, bitter, muddy and watery results. Even when it was brewing, no delightful aroma emerged. The brewed cups smelled unappealing. I went and bought Dunkin pods today to finish my experiment. While it brewed the single pod in one minute vs. the three minutes for brewing the grounds, the result was practically identical. The pod coffee was only a tad more developed, yet still watery using 10 ounces. Using the previous coffee machine I bought - the 12 cup Ninja- I had the same poor results with the classic and the rich brews so I felt there was not much point in continuing to squander coffee and $ trying various permutations of settings. Other failures include the instruction manual which includes irrelevant and thus very confusing information, as it covers an entire range of their pod makers and doesn't specify which instructions applicable to which models. For example, it says there are two upper and lower needles on the unit. And that a front nozzle comes off to clean. These are not features of the PB051. And then the customer specialist online was sadly useless. Clearly not familiar with the tech specs of this item, she could not offer simple and concise answers to straightforward questions, and after an hour of pointless dialog, she uploaded the user guide that I already have, and it addressed absolutely none of the issues that I need answers on. So, a mere two stars for the unit as I do think this design is really nice and so wanted the unit to produce flavorful coffee. I will also say I am NO coffee snob. I've been drinking instant and that was far more full-bodied than this. So. Buh bye Ninja.

Love that it is takes pods and brews. 24 oz mugs fit perfect for the iced brew. Size is perfect and compact. Highly recommend.

I like being able to make a single cup of coffee that is strong. My wife likes the regular K-cup decaf, so this makes it great for both of us. I just would like a better way of emptying all of the grounds without making a mess of things. The grounds just stick to the fine screen.

Great for small kitchen spaces! Its small and easy to clean!

This coffee machine is a dream. So easy to use and to refill. I haven't used the milk frother yet but look forward to doing so. I anticipate it will work as well as the rest of the unit. I like that it swings out of the way for removing the water reservoir. Very pleased with the packaging and the delivery time.

Very good, economical and multifunctional, but for the cost it is worth it.

I love this thing. The different settings are super easy to use. The milk frother is super easy to take off and clean. The water filler just clicks off. Everything is super convenient and easy to use. It even has a progress bar to show you how long you have to wait. The stand where the cup sits also moves up so your drink doesn't splash everywhere in smaller cups.

After some frustration with my old keurig i decided to make the switch to ninja. So far im very happy with it! The storage space alone is enough to buy it. The built in frother is a huge bonus. All in all im sooo happy with this little guy.

I absolutely LOVE this coffee maker. My prior k-cup did not get the water hot enough to make rich coffee. Well this little beauty produces piping hot rich brew. The description and specifications are accurate and I really like the large water reservoir and the onboard storage for the accessories. Way to go Ninja!

My Keurig was failing and I really wanted to try a different brand. I came across the Ninja and really liked all the capabilities. You can use ground coffee or froth milk! My coffee is very hot and no longer needs microwaving. I highly recommend this jewel!

I like it. Very easy to use specially when you are rushing to go to work.

Great coffee machine! I find the frother to be the most convenient part and I use it all the time.

I've had a lot of different coffee makers and after realizing I have a coffee problem and needed to break my Nespresso addiction, I turned back to the more affordable/convenient KCup side. This Ninja Coffee maker gives the Nespresso a run for the money! I love the ability to choose between a lighter or bolder brew and the frother is excellent. Bravo!

I had a Keurig coffee maker for 9 months and it stopped working. I had even purchased a protection plan and was told that model is no longer made. I replaced it with the Ninja coffee maker that does both K-cups and Ground coffee and I LOVE it. No problems whatsoever and even with a protection plan, it was less expensive.

This is my first coffee maker and I love it. It is very user friendly and offers a great deal of versatlity.

This machine is working as expected. Size is slim which is great for us given the limited space. We only use it to brew K-Cup regular coffee so far. Overall is a good unit and the price was reasonable. The only drawback we noticed is that it does not recognize if you have enough water in the tank before making a cup of coffee. It will stop in the middle of a brew.

Ninja always have great small kitchen appliances, but I wasn’t sure if there K-cup brewer would a do a good job at making coffee, Ninja did it again from 4oz. espresso shots, to a normal cup of coffee, grounds as well, it does a great job at blooming the coffee, been using it for about a month and so far so good. I give it 5 stars

Truely enjoy the coffee machine. The ease of use and cleaning are great design characteristics.
