A bit disappointed as my previous blender was a Vita-Mix and those are the best. For the money, this blender does a good job with adequate power. The downside is that the blade assembly is not permanently attached so when you pour out the liquid, you have to hold the blade assembly so it does not slide out. Durability is good and overall quality good with sold materials and strong motor.

My wife and I love the Ninja. No, it is not as "quiet as a Ninja" but that is okay. I have NEVER had a blender anywhere as powerful or effective as this baby ! Fruits and veggies (frozen or otherwise) do not stand a chance. It is the tube design with those ninja knives eviscersting everything in sight ! Banzai ! Highly recommended. You will love it. I got a kick out of the breeze it stirred up with the out vent from the motor. This thing is powerful. Get it on sale.

my wife wanted this unit for a long time. works great easy to clean and we really enjoy using it.

I think its great against frozen fruit but watch when cleaning, extremely sharp

Our 40+ year old Waring blender(We received it as a wedding present.) finally died. After reading the reviews we decided on the Ninja and we're glad we did. It does everything we want it to do, easy clean up, couldn't ask for more at a fair price

I love everything about this blender. It is very easy to use. Its pretty good quality. It blends very well. It’s a good size, not too big not too small. And I loved that it came with a little recipe booklet.

The Ninja is nice I like it very much it's just a bit loud. I feel it there was a way to make it less noiseey I would love that .

I use this for my smothies in the morning, and then on weekends it does margarites. Its great for puries to make with soup and other things. Strong plastic blender that can take alot of abuse and the blades are really sharp.
