The Ninja was quite different than I expected but accomplishes my needs for my shakes. It does not blend smoothly (still tiny bits of ice in the blend) but I like this type of smoothie. It is loud and it's tedious in removing the blade (which does not lock into place while blending) to clean, but I learn to adjust. I do not use this for vegetable blending, only shakes. So it meets my needs.

Blender is awesome. Does exactly what it is expected to do.

Bought this product to replace an old, cheap blender. Couldn't be happier with this product. Use it for basic purposes like making smoothies. It's so easy to use and effective that we find ourselves using it more than we ever used our old blender.

We use it mainly for smoothies. It is holding up well. Just make sure you put the pitcher on the right spot. (The handle has to be towards the front of the control panel.) Otherwise the pitcher will break.

I purchased this item because of positive reviews on Bestbuy and the fact that it has more power. I also read some reviews on another online seller that are not good. The very first time I used it I was not impressed. It was very noisy and some of the solids stayed in four corners of the container. The reason I kept it is due to it being on sale with additional discount. My cheaper ninja blender works just as well or better and it is quiet.

Works well, powerful and easy to use and clean. Use caution when handling the blades!

No longer do you need to buy smoothies from smoothie king or any other smoothie place, just simply make your own and enjoy. To test it out I filled it completely with ice and shredded it within a minute!

I was in the market for a Vitamix but didn't have the funds for it....I'm glad I choose the Ninja as it is the closest to the product I wanted. It works great and is priced right.

This is the best mixer blender juicer well i love whatermelon and pinaple vodka so far my neighbors like the juices i made so easy to crush ice a sumer drink its so easy clean up not that lould and just love my ninja

The Ninja 1000 blender works really well for smoothies. The one I bought on Amazon broke after a few weeks as it could not crush the ice. This one has a large blade that runs thru the blender so it crushes ice etc very well.

I really love this blender. It work great and I am having a lot of fun making up smoothies and frozen coffee drinks. It makes some noise when it first comes on to blend the ice but is to be expected. I am very happy with this purchase.

I've loved every minute of the ninja since I got it. So far it's awesome!
