This is a blender that handles veggies and fruit really well fresh or frozen with small cuts. If blending frozen you mist add some liquid.

At the very least it is sleek looking. Really nothing special, but simple to use. I don't like that the glass container is rectangular , theat tends to leave unblended stuff in the bottom corners

It's a little more than what I need and cleaning the blades can be tricky, but it's a powerhouse for blending just about anything.

We got this unit to replace the 1500 watt unit. This unit is equally great, just a little less powerful. This unit comes with less hardware than it big brother, and but I feel it is a better bargain. The ice isn't as fine as the bigger unit and we can live with it. A weird thing does occur where ice will get trapped between the blades and it kind of gets stuck in a mini vortex. This only affects 1% of your product. If this is going to bug you, or you want industrial strength beverages, then opt for the Beast Blender and the 1500 watt motor.

I really like this blender. It's powerful enough to make good smoothies. If you use the 20% off kitchen appliance coupon, it is a very great deal.
