The system is a little different than a standard blender. The blade run all the way up to the lid so it takes a bit to get used to. It is more difficult to add ingredients while blending. The unit also has multiple safeties built in, I guess is a good thing. Its not a drop in replacement for your old blender.

Really good blender. love the big pitcher for multiple servings. Or if needed the single serving cups are awesome!

This is a great blender that comes with plenty of extras. We love making smoothies in this and taking them to go with us.

We were looking for a blender and love the ninja brand. We have utilized ours 3 times and its smooth. Noise is moderate, and mini suction cups under the blender is great for stability. Only down side was after purchasing the Ninja Mega Blender system went on sale for less than what we bought ours.
