This model ninja doesn't have enough RPMs . Not sure why you would sell this model, I have a vitamix and this ninja model is not even close! In the commercials they don't even mention this one (1000 watts or rpm). It is a decent product, I guess I bought the wrong ninja.

We ended up taking it back because it didn't work the way I hoped it would. I needed it to purée and make smoothies. When I tried to purée an onion it could only chop it into small pieces. When I would make smoothies the ice was crunchy because it couldn't get the ice small enough.

A good item for using in a family and small parties

I plan on recommending the Ninja blender to friends.

We returned this blender, it was too big and bulky for home use. The top was not simple to take off and the blades were not preferred. This is definitely a product that should be used in a restaurant

On our second one! First one broke in 16 days after we got it. Plastic base is weak.

I had a simple Oster blender for as long as I could remember. I thought it was great because it was inexpensive, but came with a ton of blending options (buttons). But once it got to the point where my morning smoothie would take almost 20 minutes to blend, and required a lot of 'spooning' intervention, I decided it was time for a change. Enter the Ninja. I saw this in the aisle while perusing my local BestBuy and instantly searched the item online for reviews. Reviews said "Great product," and I took it home with me that afternoon. I've been extremely happy ever since. I have not put anything in the blender that it couldn't make mush out of. I've made frozen drinks, almost solid drinks, extremely liquid-y drinks, and everything in between. It takes almost no time to get a good blend (if you're spending more than 1 minute blending anything, you're doing it wrong). Cleanup is pretty simple: so long as you didn't blend up anything super sticky, you simply fill the blender with water and a drop of dish soap, run it for 15 seconds or so, then rinse. I also put it through my dishwasher once weekly, which is perfectly safe to do. The only caution I would give anyone is that the blades are insanely sharp. When I tried (first, before reading directions--silly me) to wash the blade portion by hand, I managed to cut myself quite easily. Needless to say, I stick with the blended hot water with soap method to clean typically. But the blade being insanely sharp is also a good thing: it makes for good smoothie making!

I was hesitant to buy this blender mainly because the name "Ninja" invoked feelings of made-for-TV quality products. But finally I relented and gave it a shot, mostly because the 1000watt motor is the best thing out there for the price (and much lower priced than similar models). Well we LOVE this blender! The 1000watt motor makes short work of ANYTHING you put in the blender. The 6 blades are super-sharp, actually mincing and cutting instead of just smashing into pulp, but they're still very easy to clean. All the parts lock into each other, so you can actually carry the whole blender by the handle. No more worrying about the lid flying off either! (It takes a minute to get the locks right the first time, but once you do it's no problem at all.) I would call this the Dyson of blenders. But the best part is, you don't have to pay extra for all that quality! We've been using the heck out of it and it shows no signs of slowing down. The trickiest part has been having it NOT over-blend stuff and we've had to tweak our recipies a bit. if they make a model that has a lower slow speed I'd be all over that!

This thing will make ice into snow super quick. I put in 4 peaches cut in half, and after a min or so, they were gone, liquified. And with ice and some honey, I was the best treat. So far, so good. No problems. And Best Buy had it for $20 less then any other site on the web, I checked alot of them..............

It works as advertised. It is very easy to use and clean. It works great on ice (we even made ice cream with it). The only drawback is that it only works well for large volumes. For small jobs you may have to buy a smaller unit. I cannot rate its durability since I have only been using it for a couple of months.

I did a lot of research and picked this blender, and was able to buy this on sale at Best Buy. My wife is on chemo and we have switched our eating habits to more fruit and vegetables. Making smoothies is a great way to get your fruit and vegetables. What makes this blender better than most is the blades go all the way to the top of the container. It could cut up a two by four. In fact be very careful of the very sharp blades when handling. Also it is very easy to use and clean. I highly recommend the product.

Working great so far. Finally I can make smoothies without having to stop and stir the ingredients to keep them blending. Not only smoothies, it also works well as a food processor. We've made great fresh salsa and pasta sauce in it. I've already recommended it to several friends.
