Best Blender out there
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a $100 bucks it is worth the price. Don't spend more on a different brand, this one has power.

As long as the ingredients are already soft..
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for a blender that makes great green smoothies, pass on this one. The blender does seem powerful (quite loud as well), and if you just want to make things like margaritas or smoothies with prepackaged powders and softer unfrozen fruits, this may do the job. You will likely have to peel anything you throw in because it will not fully process skins and leaves. If you want a blender to get started on the green scene (kale, spinach, leafy greens, fresh fruits/veg and herbs) you should pass on this one unless you enjoy chewing tiny bits of ingredients after it is served. I did try the blending and straining technique, but that takes forever and wastes so much you may as well use a juicer. I just bit the bullet and ordered a Vitamix, because for the purpose of everyday fresh green smoothies and raw vegan recipes, there are really only two choices out there; Vitamix or Blendtec (with Vitamix getting the slight edge on pulverizing leafy greens). Hope this helps for those looking to utilize a blender for these reasons!

Best Blender I've owned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this blender. Because of the blades being at multiple heights, it actually crushes ice without you having to poke the ice down towards the bottom of the pitcher container.

The Mother of all Blenders
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is truly the mother of all blenders, you will never own another and never want to own another. I called the company to purchase another 5 more to use at my home in Europe and give as gifts but they don't manufacture it in 220V which is a bummer.

Son-in-law loves it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son-in-law had been looking at it for quite some time & we bought it for him for Christmas. He absolutely loves it! He says it evenly blends things without leaving huge chunks.

Best Blender Ever!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I simply love this blender! I've had about 5 blenders in the past 5 years and this is the best one yet. I was cheap on the others but this is worth the money without going too deep into your pockets!

Serious blending
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I bought this blender after I saw the infomercial. It's very cool and blends very well. I just don't like the lid, it only goes on one way and you have to press a button to open it and pulling the lid off is a pain. It splashes whatever you just blended on the counter if your lucky (I got it on my clothes). I thought this blender was easier to clean. I was wrong, the lid and blade are difficult to clean. I saw food on it after I thought I had cleaned it very well. Returned it!

An upscale, hard-core blender
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great and seems to be well built. I have had many blenders. I feel this one may be worth the premium price.

Not what I expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Kitchenaid food processor does a better job of blending than the ninja. After several uses, the seals on the top started to stick really bad making it very difficult to remove. In turn this caused the seals to start tearing. Not really sure why this blender has such good ratings from everyone else.

Not Worth The Money!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right idea, but blades get dull during the first couple of uses. My cheap, barely working old blender does much better job, than this brand new. Dull blades do not blend the food, but chop. Smoothies, soups, drinks come out rough not smooth. If you want sharp blade you can buy in on Ninja website for $19.95 + $5.95 for shipping.

How did this thing get almost 5 stars??
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I literally ruined about $40 in protein powder and fruit. This thing is incapable of producing a smooth consistency, and worse, whips so much air into the mixture, that smoothies come out like liquid foam. Just awful. I quickly realized how terrible it was and immediately ordered the KitchenAid 5-speed blender, but needed something until it came in. I'd of been better off stirring my shakes with a spoon. To add insult to injury, the lid stuck on and broke when I was trying to remove it. Just to make myself feel better, I tried the ice to snow thing and it worked well, so unless you're opening a snowball stand, I'd stay away.

Doesn't do what it claims.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my wife based on it's bragging about crushing ice. It does a poor job and will not get ice smaller than the size of snow cone chunks. My $30 Oster blender does a much better job. It's going back to the store. Food was also trapped in the handle....even after the dishwasher cleaned it.
