    So my Oster broke and i needed a new blender. I saw this was at a nice discount so I went ahead and bought it. I have used it just a couple of times so far to make a smoothie. Liquid and ice went in and I used the automatic option. When it was "done" I did not have a fully blended easy to pour smoothie. Instead I had a mess. Even after blending again several times the smoothie was still not what I was looking for. It was honestly no better than my Oster that broke that cost half as much. The design is really good and it looks nice but my first experiences making a smoothie I wasn't impressed.

    My older Ninja blender of 6 years was recently messed up in a mistake. So I bought this one to make smoothies and protein shakes. I like the familiar design and the controls. Simple to use and the powerful motor works to crush or blend any ingredients you throw at it.
