    DO NOT BUY IF YOU LIKE TO USE THE PITCHER!! I bought this blender 5 months ago and am already on my third pitcher. I use this every day to blend morning smoothies, no hot water, very little ice, plenty of liquid. The bottom continues to crack and Ninja does not warranty the parts - the pitcher is $65 each time. The most recent pitcher cracked after 7 uses. Save your money and buy something of better quality. Side note... the base and cups work fantastic.

    The blender itself is great and works perfectly. The smoothie cups however have pencil thin threads for the cap, and food gets trapped in there and it's very difficult to clean if you get anything like peanut butter or almond butter in between the threads. If they changed the design of this, I would give it 5 stars.
