For the price I would expect a blender that blends my smoothies more finely. Its not bad by any means but I’ve had better results with my nutribullet.

The power is not the same like tee 1,500 w that I had before also it didn’t blend well I am completely dissatisfied with this product

It’s a good product, but quality degrades quick over time.

Our original Ninja bit the dust after about 6 years. This new version is an upgrade to making smoothies with the IQ setting. Unit is much lighter than our old one, so not sure about durability yet.

Upon opening the box, you are greeted by an easy-to-follow Quick Start Guide. Packaging is smart, with a place for everything, and all components are easily removed and ready for an initial cleaning. I appreciate how straightforward unpacking and setup is. The components feel like they are made of first-class materials with clean finishes on the matte black plastic surfaces and the brushed stainless surfaces. The 72-oz pitcher and two 24-oz single-serve cups are made of a thick, clear plastic, with measurement markings clearly printed on the sides. It all gives the impression of high-quality materials and thoughtful engineering. An initial cleaning is needed for the cups, caps, blades, pitcher, and pitcher lid. That is a simple process that illuminates how easily the parts disassemble. Everything is very straightforward with screw-on caps and lift-out blade assembly. Some warm soapy water is all it takes. The motor base has four suction cup feet that hold it securely to the countertop; it stays where you put it. On the rear of the base housing is a vent for the motor with an integrated spool to receive the power cord when storing the unit. Very convenient! The 72-oz. pitcher twists 1/8 turn to lock in place. The lid to the pitcher also locks and seals in place with a lever closure that, when closed, provides a tight seal; there is a flip-up pour cover incorporated into the lid corner opposite the handle so that you can dispense contents via a convenient, easy-to-control spout. The Ninja Professional Plus Blender Duo also comes with two 24-oz. single-serve cups with screw-on lids with a closeable, sealable spout. The cups also fit the screw-on Pro Extractor Blades Assembly. The first concoction from the blender was a chocolate malt. The 72-oz. pitcher is huge and easily accommodated the ingredients. After everything was added, I secured the lid and, per instructions for a milkshake, pressed the “Ice Crush” button on the base. The blender roared to life, and my first impression was that the motor was surprisingly loud. Then I shifted focus to the pitcher. The blender did not hesitate while effortlessly mixing the 6 scoops of hard-frozen ice cream, chocolate sauce, milk, and powdered malt. Half a minute later, I poured a perfectly mixed, delicious chocolate malt. The removeable blade assembly makes cleanup a breeze. Next came smoothies mixed right in the included 24-oz. cups. Preparation could not have been simpler. We rinsed and cut the leafy tops from fresh strawberries and added the whole fruit to the cup, followed by pineapple wedges, blueberries, half a banana and a few ice cubes. That filled the cups to capacity. The cups fit the screw-on Pro Extractor Blades Assembly that twists to a tight seal. Then you can invert the cup and it locks into the motor base. Press “Smoothie,” and half a minute later you have a perfectly mixed, creamy smoothie. Unscrew the blade assembly and replace it with the flip-spout cover, and you’re ready to head out. My wife loves being able to take her fresh smoothie while on a walk! I have owned and broken several blenders over the years that were not up to the task; mixing was usually inadequate, and the motor would bog down under load and inevitably fail. This Ninja Professional Blender Duo has never hesitated with tasks that have destroyed lesser mixers, and my sense is that this machine will last. The combination of the spacious pitcher, blade design and high-power motor leaves me with the overall impression that this is an immensely powerful, versatile machine that is up to whatever mixing task I could conceive of. It effortlessly processes full-size ice cubes, fruits, vegetables, and loads of ice cream at a time. And when you’re done, cleanup is a breeze.

Too bad..it comes only one year..after a year it stops the motor working

I can't say whether this is a good blender. Washing it prior to use, I sliced my hand open on the blade. I was being extremely careful, but there's no way to avoid the blade and that would be especially true if actually blending something (like nut butter in a smoothie) that could get stuck to the blade. Returned.

The Best Buy price match was great! I found this item a little cheaper and they matched it!

With the 2 cups I can make smoothies and store them and still use the blender !

I only use blender to make margaritas, this is the first blender Ive ever used that disnt crush all the ice cubes. I used various settings and blended longer than whats normal all to no avail.
