I love ninja's products, and this one did not disappoint. I mostly make smoothies in my blender. Normally i have to blend or overly blend to get it to the consitancy i want even with with the smoothie option. With this blender i didnt have to run it through agian. it was at a perfect consitany with the one push of the button. The updated smoothie blending option is my favorite update but the next best feature on this blender that saves another machine is the ice breaker button. it crushes the ice to the constancy of snow coner ice. The blender itsefl is huge and feels more well built than the prvious one. it feels a little thicker than my previous one. The cups on this iteration of the blender is buy far a massive improvment. They are more durable feeling, wider and the lid for the cups is easier to close. The noise is still obnoxiously loud lol i wake everyone up when using it, but thats not something that i see changing with blenders. This has been my favorite ninja blender and really ope it last for awhile

The name says professional but I am not a professional cook but for my basic needs this blender is extremely well built and has a lot of great features. It makes great milkshakes, smoothies, chops items very well. I know some people want very smooth smoothies like the store bought which this doesn't make it completely smooth but I like that it can chop ice and make snow cones and ice cream drinks. What you would use for a normal blender this does a fantastic job due to it large motor. It has a suction cup mount so it stay in place on the counter. And this one came with different sized cups which is great when making drinks. The blender comes with interchangeable blades which is a plus. The Auto-iQ has built in programs to do different types of modes where in one it would blend and then stops for a few seconds and then turns on. The old fashion way that my older blenders were I would take the hopper off and shake it to make sure it blends everything thoroughly but now with auto-iQ it does it for me by changing the speeds. Great blender for my use.

I wasn’t sure about this blender, I decided to give it a try and I’m absolutely happy with the performance of this blender. It’s super easy to use, easy to clean and has a good power. I’m very happy with the purchase of this blender.

A blender is one of those appliances nearly everyone has, but only some can appreciate. People that make smoothies, frozen drinks, slushies, purees, or milkshakes will always have more of an affinity of the functional prowess of a good blender. The Ninja Blender Duo is best described using that same term, ‘functional prowess’. Ninja claims it has 20% faster blade speed and 30% more functionality than its previous model. This blender is packaged nicely – about what I’ve come to expect from Ninja products. Bright white box, high contrast pictures with a cardboard protected device inside a clear plastic bag. Based on the weight of the device, the cardboard mold seems efficient to protect the device if it was mishandled for some reason. Unboxing the blender immediately reveals a well-constructed appliance. It is made of plastic, but high quality with a substantial weight and feel. Very simple control panel with minimal buttons. It is an attractive appliance and should look nice in most kitchens. The next thing that pops out is the 2 single serve cups included with spouted lids and an extractor lid – this is a real nice-to-have. Next, I put it in my blender spot on the counter, and I noticed the suction cups on the legs. This was fantastic, as it helps keep the blender secure when removing the pitcher, which is secured with a strong quarter turn locking mechanism. Turn it on and the entire panel lights up. Load it, lock the lid, and lock in the pitcher – it’s ready. I like smoothies. I press the smoothie button and the Blender Duo does a couple of pulse spins, then begins to blend until it senses completion or I stop it. This is where the Auto IQ technology comes in. You can basically tap the button and expect the perfect result. My experience? Well, it doesn’t disappoint. I actually stopped the blender early on occasion, and that brings me to the power claims. I didn’t have a Ninja blender or extractor prior to this, although I have other products, so I really can’t compare it to assess their claims. I can say it makes my former blender, notice I said former, seem like a junior substitute device. It does not mess around, literally and figuratively. The Ninja Blender Duo lives up the Professional Plus label on the box! Do you want one? Heck yeah! If you aren’t a smoothie, frozen drink person this thing may help change that. It is powerful, easy to use, consistent, and easy to clean. Throw in the 2 single serve cups where you and a companion can make different smoothie concoctions, blend them, put a cap on and go… It’s a can’t miss.

I have been using this to make smoothies every day. It's a bit loud, but I can deal with that. This Ninja crushes it, meaning ice and makes the best smoothies I have ever made. I used to use my blender and they didn't taste anything like this. It mixes everything well and you can set it and walk away and it does it all on it's own. This is the best thing ever. The suction cups on the bottom of the base are super strong, that thing is not coming loose from the countertop anytime while you are using it. The cups are huge, you can serve 2 or more people. I pour it into a glass, not a fan of drinking out of that huge thing. Amazing product. Love this.

I have had and used this product almost daily for a little over a week preparing various aspects of our meals. Wow I was shocked at the punch this device has brought to our dinner preparation efforts. Everything I have attempted has performed as marketed and is uniform because of the three tiered blades. The plastic carafe locks in smoothly with a lid that also has to be locked and seals into place easily to avoid messes. All buttons are well labeled and very straightforward. Con I would like to mention is that the carafe is tall and recommended for top rack, thus it doesn’t fit in my dishwasher so has to be hand washed. Easy Peasy, however felt it should be noted. The only other con is that there is one type of blade for the blender and another smaller one included with the smoothe or juicer glasses. I really wish there were more blade options included for the actual blender. This is an awesome blender and I am happy with the decision to get it. As with all the Ninja products I hope it withstands the use and many years of kitchen experiments and fun!

its good. its loud. and the bottom blades cannot be connected to the big part like older models. it can only be used with one of the cups.

My trusty Hamilton Beach had seen better days and I needed a replacement. This Ninja makes shaved ice in seconds--that's right--seconds, and the IQ sensor is great. It purees soups with ease, and the single serve did great smoothies. Frozen, slushy drinks are a snap. Easy to clean the big unit, the blade comes out easily and the pitcher is simple to wash out. I like the way the lid locks onto the pitcher, and the release button so you can quickly pop it off. I also like that you have several speeds plus the pulse along with the presets for smoothies and ice. It's gotten a pretty good workout this past week, and made short order of tomatoes for homemade spaghetti sauce last night. I am very pleased.

My wife loved it !!! She always wanted and now she got it !!!

Works wonderful and is easy to clean up. Different mixing speeds make it easy to whip up just about anything.

This blender works perfectly. With ease! The IQ technology allows to make the perfect smoothies. The single serve option is perfect for on the go. The single serve option has a spout lid to allow you to use as a cup. This saves on time and dishes. The power this blender holds makes blending efficient. There are no large chucks left as with my previous blenders. This is the only blender you will ever need and worth the extra cost.

The Ninja Professional Plus Blender Duo with Auto-iQ is a great smoothie making machine. The unit has sufficient power to crush ice and fruit. The unit comes with 2 cups and a blade for making the smoothie right in the cup. The unit is quieter than most other models this size. The design of this unit would fit into any modern kitchen. I would recommend the Ninja Professional Plus Blender DUO with Auto-iQ to family and friends.

Works well, have only used it for drinks and smoothies to date. Definitely crushes ices better than a normal bender. Also, very easy to clean. Only (minor) negatives are that it takes up a fair amount of space and is sometimes a little unwieldy to set up

Blends perfect and the blender lid locks in place so i don't have to hold it down while it blends. The bottles are big enough for all the different shakes we make and the bigger part handles everything else!
