    I was excited for this purchase since many family and friends had provided me with good feedback on Ninja smoothie makers in general. However, my personal experience was not too pleasant. I received a defective piece. The mixer broke down on the second day. The power button would not turn on. I purchased it online and did curbside pickup so didn’t really check the product inside out in the store, but I suspect that if was given an open box as the box wasn’t completely sealed when I opened it. (I made purchase for brand new, not open box). I was able to return it the next day without any issue - however I didn’t exchange it for another one. Not sure if I want to spend good chuck of money on a product that might not be durable.

    doesn't grind like it's supposed to, especially the large glass, the small one grinds a little better, but leaves several chunks unground

    Loved the safety feature of it not blending unless lid was locked in place. Didn’t like the plastic pitcher or the fact that it was square instead of round(harder to scrape food down). This blender smelt like the motor was burning even when I was re-blending the next day without ice in it so I returned it.
