Great For Most Uses

It crushes ice like a champ and makes quick work of frozen fruit for smoothies. The food processor bowl chips vegetables quickly, and I whipped up a batch of cookies in no time with less mess than I would have had with my mixer. This mixer is extremely powerful and very versatile. If you do a lot of cooking and baking, it's worth the counter space. Speaking of counter space, that brings me to the first drawback. This mixer is HUGE. I'm attaching a picture next to my mixer for size comparison. If you have a small space, this might be too much for you. And with all of the power comes another drawback- noise. It's incredibly loud. The whole house knows when I'm using the blender. Those quirks are ti be expected when you're using a 1400 watt blender. The one true problem with this blender is the Extraction Auto IQ program. I placed a cord and quartered apple, a small piece of ginger, and some water in the tumbler and at the end of the program I was left with whole apple quarters and slightly green water. When I did the manual pulse, it did pulverize the apple, but as the Auto IQ settings are a big selling point, I felt it was definitely a problem. If fruit and vegetable extraction isn't what you're looking for, this product is great.

Great versatile blender
