I did not see the base with the controls and the plug

I have been using it for about a month, and even though is loud, it works really good, love the add ons that come with it, and it feels like it is made with the best materials for the price!

This is the most amazing conglomerate of devices. The best chopper, blender, mixer. Love the auto functions. Only uses one spot on the counter! Only issue is the cleaning.....beware...those blades are sharp! But that is true to the brand "Ninja" Actually bought another as a gift for some one.

This is the best blender I’ve EVER used. The base is huge and thankfully has suction cups on the bottom to hold it in place. After washing it for first use, we decided to start with margaritas. As soon as I plugged it in, it started flashing and the lights lit up. I put the ingredients in the 72oz container and inserted it into the base. I pushed the ON button and the ice-crushing button. It counted down from 60 and every five seconds it pulsed so the perfect consistency was achieved. After the first time the blender stopped moving, I thought it was done. But it started again, pulsing on and off for that minute. The margaritas were PERFECTION! No left-over cubes of ice that weren’t blended like you usually get at the bottom of your blender. That means no clumps of smoothie will go plop when pouring it into a glass. Oh, and there’s a separate button for extraction! It made a perfect seal. No leaks at all. And clean up was easy and took just seconds. I added soap and warm water and blended on low. Voila! Clean blender! The blender came with a recipe booklet. We used the citrus margarita recipe and it was excellent! This blender came with different attachments: there are two to-go cups! The dough processor is a separate container with dough blades, I look forward to making a variety of different things! Cookie dough is next! I highly recommend this blender! We’ve had three other Ninjas and honestly, we’ve loved each one to its death. But each subsequent Ninja improves upon the last and we love it even more.  

Plenty of power with nice features. I really like how firmly everything locks into the base and that it has a large interface to drive the blades and not a tiny gear like so many other blenders. The locking lids are a nice touch too, no worry about it falling off while pouring from the pitcher. Crushes ice and frozen fruits easily and evenly , great for smoothies!

It works excellent for me, it knows exactly how to mix up my shakes and very easy to clean. I even had one of my friends get one!!

I own last years 1000w version. This worked better than that except It is VERY loud but the Auto IQ features worked great. Unfortunately the blade from my Nutri Ninja did not fit it so I have to make sure I keep them separate. Would definitely recommend this as a great choice.

Ninja products have always performed above and beyond expectation, and this Auto-IQ Ninja system is their greatest yet. The auto-iQ features are the main thing I tested because it's the new technology for a blender. And it works pretty well. It's the equivalent of your popcorn or pizza presets on a microwave but more exact and not just timing based. I don't know how it does it, but it does it well. And if you don't want to trust iQ, you can always do it without it too. Power is not an issue at all. You get a nice, smooth and refreshing smoothie or shake each time. I always use crushed ice to start off just to make it easier but it seems like it can handle anything really. Truly a marvelous product. I can't wait to use it more!

This amazing blender surprised me with all the actions it can perform. I needed it for mixing a shake, but now I am delighted to use it for other purposes. The instructions included explain uses but the customer service hot line is also extremely helpful.

This works great for making smoothies. The large blender and the cups both work great. It is not too difficult to clean either.

This is my second ninja blender as well as a few others that we have collected over the years. I love my first one but have since retired it to the pantry closet Because of this package. This ensemble from Ninja is absolutely fantastic and makes me ask what more do you want from a blender. Right out of the box you get that strong sleek look of counter top appeal that the designers provide with any Ninja products. But it is more than a pretty face with its bevy of accessories and power. As mentioned, I have several blenders already and was more excited for the Food Processing Bowl (mixing bowl). We have always wanted one of those high kind (you know which one I am referring to) but just have not purchased one as of yet, now we most certainly will not be. Being from Texas, I of course made fresh salsa in about five minutes that even "Wowed" my wife and kids. We have been mixing like crazy and we have made some wonderful dishes and desserts over the past couple of days already. The unit is a bit taller than its predecessor so we did have to move it to another spot on our counter but this worked out to be a better spot for the "Mixing" aspect for us since we are then using the bowl to meal prep or what not. Furthermore, the 1400 W power is a monster and will blend just about anything you toss in there. I was simply curious and almost broke mine (I would have been sick!) when I threw in a chunk of ice from the bottom of our ice tray that was about the size of a racket ball. The Ninja took it in stride and manage to make short work of it. I really enjoy the blending glasses and as it were, I am drinking a banana strawberry smoothie right now out of one (I did hit it with a couple splashes of vodka but that is another story). The long short is this is a very quality unit and will not disappoint. I will add that I hope they push more attachments out for this unit (larger bowls, mixing wands, etc.).

I didn’t get the order. It was suddenly cancelled at all most midnight.

Lasted 7 years, using almost everyday. It got heavy use, crushing ice, making smoothies, blending and processing. The base started smoking 2 weeks ago and if I could have found the base to replace it, I’d still be using it. Great purchase.

Used it for 3 years, was good, lasted very long even on overload.

You know how Starbucks grinds coffee beans every now and then and it's this ear splitting grinding noise? Or how about when you go to a juice bar and you hear a cacophony of blenders all going at once? That's about the same experience you get when this Nija turns on. Don't get me wrong - it does a great job at what it does making smoothies and frozen drinks, but oh my it's loud. Leave the room and still hear it on the other side of the house loud. Once you get past the sheer noise of this thing, everything else about it is lovely, to me most notably is the study construction of the glassware.

This blender is the good standard of blenders. I was blown away by the high quality build of all parts. It blender up my smoothies with ease and loved being able to take on the go after. I even blended up some ice for adult beverages and it wasn’t extremely watery but nice blended chunks and chips. If you are looking for a blender that will last and blend with ease snag this one!
