When using the chopper, the base doesn't seem to lock on to the chopper. When trying to make dough, it kept slipping off

This is an amazing piece of kitchen ware. I use this all the time for making frozen milk shakes. I've always had a ninja, the amazing multiple blades make sure everything is mixed smoothly every time.

I LOVE the Ninja system! In fact, I love it so much I have had at least 3, maybe 4 in the past several years. Why so many you ask? Because the cups keep cracking and it's cheaper to replace the whole unit than to buy replacement cups. The last one I purchased both the food processor bowl as well as the blender cup both cracked along the very bottom making it impossible to blend anything liquid...which really is the purpose of having a blender. This seems to be a manufacturing defect with these units. It's about $100 to replace a bowl or blender cup. Unfortunately, this purchase I just made in April 2021 has also cracked with normal use. I'm beyond frustrated with this whole mess. I did take out a service plan with this one, so we'll see where that gets me. The machine itself is a powerhouse but the plastic units are TERRIBLE!
