Should be called a smart blender

Firstly, I will admit, I am not a blender-maniac so when I see any kind of blender, all I see is a blender, however the Ninja, I would say is a SMART blender. The construction of it is very heavy, sturdy, and solid. It is very user friendly --- basically a Blender for Dummies I’d say. It has a solid circular gear, which I have not seen with the el cheapo blenders I’ve gotten in the past. The bottom of the unit also has suction cups that attach to the counter – love that!
It also comes with these two very sharp bladed attachments and even a dough blade which is super sharp – be sure to store these away from the little ones. Also – forget the ice machine I wanted because this things whips through ice to make the smoothiest smoothies and daiquiris I’ve ever had, not even exaggerated.
My favorite features:
- Suction cups for sturdy use
- Pouring spout so I can easily add liquids and additional ingredients
- Various options of the cup, food processor, and pitcher
- I can make dough easily!
- Recipe book included
- An extraction setting
- No work for me; it stops and gos like it’s a smart blender
Cons?
- It make seem big and bulky to some
- Needs to be cleaned almost immediately after use
Yeah, not many cons. I love this thing and surprisingly, it is actually worth the price tag.

Setup is incredibly easy. I’m pretty much completely useless in the kitchen but I was able to figure out everything rather easily. It does come with instructions if needed. As a bonus it also comes with different recipes that you can try for things which is nice. Everything that I tried came out excellently and was always the right consistency without giant chunks.
I mostly use this to make myself smoothies each morning (frozen spinach, frozen fruits, protein powder, and a bit of skim milk). The 24 oz cups and lids go on/off easily. They are also lightweight but solid. Easy to clean. With the previous blender we were using it wouldn’t chop up all the ingredients and a lot of it came out foam. However, this one does a much better job in every category. As there are no little flakes and it comes out in thicker consistency that is mixed better. It also isn’t as loud. Wins on both sides.
The 72 oz pitcher is also surprisingly light but overall very solid. It won’t break easily. It comes in handy when sharing with multiple people. It is also very easy to clean. The sharp blades that go in just rest in there. So, you do have to be careful about that when emptying. I tended to store all the blades with their counterpart item to help keep them safe and prevent harm to our person when looking for something.
The display is excellent. It is a bit basic but shows you all you need to know and looks good doing it. There are five “Auto IQ Modes” (Smoothie, Ice Crush, Extract, Chop, and Dough). Most of these set a particular speed and duration in a pulsating function which is dependent on what you are going for. They work well. There is also the Manual mode (low, medium, high, and pulse).
PROS:
- Powerful with a 1400-watt motor.
- Doesn’t take up a lot of room on the countertop.
- Very balanced and won’t tip over.
- Has suction cups as feet to further help keep in place and dampen overall sound.
- Buttons are sealed, take a moderate amount of pressure to press, but feel good.
- Buttons and products are easy to clean.
- No exposed blades on the base of the machine.
- Very sharp blades inside the pitcher which helps blend foods well.
- Quality of every single component is top notch from the containers, to the system, to the blades.
- AutoIQ is perfect for people like me who have no idea what they are doing but still allow me to make delicious foods without blowing up the kitchen.
- All the lids lock down. Literally. Which is great.
CONS:
- It is loud. However, it is at a low pitch sound which makes it a lot more bearable compared to other high-pitched blenders. Add that to the power and it isn’t all that bad considering.
- That’s all I could come up with. I guess packaging was wonderful, but if you try to put it back in that packaging for travel you probably won’t be able too.
CONCLUSION:
As I already stated. I’m no professional in the kitchen but this makes me appear like I know what I am doing. Most times I even end up getting lost. But this has added a lot of versatility to what I can and cannot make. So much so I don’t even know where to start. The possibilities are endless. It was completely worth the purchase and I am blown away by the quality. So, if you are looking for something to up your kitchen game I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Ninja® Professional Plus Kitchen System with Auto-iQ® BN801
We were introduced to Ninja products only a few years back. Their multi-purpose Air Fryer Toaster Oven is second only to our cooktop as the most useful kitchen appliance we own. This Ninja Professional Plus Blender-Processor system looks like it’s going to work its way into frequent use, also. Ninja appears to have concluded that any counter space their products demand had better offer lots of functionality. An appliance that can turn out smoothies or soups, knead dough or chop salad ingredients, and serve up a variety of desserts will earn its place on our kitchen counter. NINJA is a clever company.
SETUP: With the Ninja Professional Plus it’s more about developing a strategy for storing and retrieving your accessories. This is a complete solution for many, many things you might prepare in your kitchen. The 24 oz. cups and their lids might as well sit up with your glasses, ‘cause you’re going to use them most often if you prepare smoothies. I suppose you could leave the Extractor Blade Assembly mounted on one of them, because that’s the pairing that makes sense.
The motor base deserves a permanent location on your counter. Just remember that if/when you use the 72 oz pitcher, the total height might not fit under your top cabinets. Our counter lends itself to a permanent location and we like to crush ice for drinks and desserts. Oh, and don’t worry about this blender staying put. Those “suction” feet aren’t moving until you want to move them.
Neither the Food Processor Bowl/lid or those 24 oz cups create a similar height problem. If you leave the sharpest blades “stored” in their cups or bowls, only the Dough Blade requires care in storage, but then, it’s not actually sharp by design, so a drawer location worked for us.
IN USE: The NINJA Pro Blender-Processor is not quiet, but we’ve owned much louder with much less power. No complaints from us. The display is a simple timer. It counts DOWN during the NINJA blending-processing routines or it counts UP while using the MANUAL modes (Low, Medium, High, Pulse). There is a set of Auto IQ modes (Smoothie, Ice Crush, Extract, Chop, Dough) which have preset timers and a sequence of blending and pauses all ready for you. If an Auto mode is not appropriate for a bowl/cutter assembly, it is not available to use. The PUSH BUTTONS are all sealed from food debris and require modest effort. But, remember those suction feet? The appliance is not moving anywhere while you push a button.
The food-processor accessory made easy work out of a hummus recipe we have. It was too easy. The blade insert was more than capable of reducing Garbanzo Beans with the various flavor ingredients into the smoothest hummus we’ve had. We used the pulse feature to get to our desired consistency.
Our daughter challenged us to make a Detroit-style pizza, and this same accessory powered through a dough mix, but we swapped in the dough “blade” for this job. Power is not a problem for the Ninja and making dough could not have been quicker. The lids of these two larger bowls (this food processor and the crushing pitcher) require you to position them correctly so they lock into position. The blades come out VERY easily, so you will want to use care when up-turning either of the bowls to empty them. If the preparation result is very thin, use the pouring spouts, instead. The lids stay locked and secure during the pour.
Ninja has a nice collection of smoothie recipes. (I’m going to copy, print and laminate some.) I too often get excited about a tool and then lose interest. The NINJA Recipes offer a great collection of doable smoothies and the included mixing cups with lids is an invitation to make a few smoothies and have them waiting for you in the refrigerator. We’re adding some fruits and veggies (fresh and frozen) to our shopping list so we can add some variety to our diet.
SUMMARY We’ve got more food prep ideas and this collection of tools and accessories suggests that no task is out of reach. The NINJA is reasonably attractive, in a professional, serious kitchen tool way. The weight and feel of all of NINJA’s bowls and cups promises to deliver reliable, long-lasting performance. The biggest problem we had was figuring out how to store al the parts, but then we wouldn’t give up any of them. This is a complete food prep system that gets all the necessary functions done perfectly. This is professional level quality and performance.

The **Ninja Professional Plus Kitchen System** is an absolute beast in the kitchen. It’s got a **super powerful 1400-watt motor**, so it crushes ice, blends smoothies, and mixes dough without breaking a sweat. The **Auto-IQ presets** are a lifesaver—just hit a button and let it do its thing. Plus, it's a blender, food processor, and personal smoothie maker all rolled into one. Cleanup’s easy too since most parts are dishwasher safe. If you're looking for one gadget that can do it all, this one seriously delivers.

I was looking for an upgrade to an old blender. THe kids make smoothies so I was ranking my options by the power as our old one could never quite handle frozen fruit and blend smoothly. This model is very very powerful and makes a great smoothie or hummus.
The only negatives.... It can be ear shatteringly loud when you first push the button. It scared my 12 year old daughter at first which might not be a bad thing.
Also its a counter hog. The base which has to have a huge motor inside take up quite a bit of space. And its so tall, I have to store the pitcher somewhere else.
Some people complain about the suction cups on the bottom being annoying but I find them useful as the power of the motor would probably make this thing "walk" across the counter while in use otherwise.
The nice features:
Love the small smoothie cup. Its small, single serving and easy to clean.
The preprogammed cycles are also nice. They include a sequence of timed pulses and with one button you can watch the process without having to push on and off repeatedly.
The design is such that the base of the pitcher does not come apart. There is no gasket to lose or seal to leak with liquids. On the other hand this could possibly make its lifespan shorter as the blade stem socket is essentially plastic. Who knows how long that will last.
Overall I like this product and enjoy making smoothies frequently. If I knew how large it was going to be, I might have looked for a smaller setup but I bought it online and did not feel up to returning it.

I love the ease of this machine. The day I first pulled it out I found 3 uses for it. Easy to clean. Pre-set buttons I didn't even need to stay in front of it to watch it blend. Ice turned to snow. DRAWBACK- LOUD! Iknew that before and i just walk away from it and let it stop itself when done. OH! Best new feature?!... the pour spout stays up by itself! Yay!!!

I absolutely love my Ninja - Professional Plus Kitchen System! It's become a real game-changer in my kitchen. The design is sleek and modern, and it fits perfectly on my countertop.
What I appreciate most is the Auto-iQ feature. It makes blending and processing so simple. I just press a button, and it handles everything. Smoothies, soups, and sauces all turn out great without any hassle.
The 24oz single-serve cups are super convenient. I can blend my smoothie right in the cup, put on the to-go lid, and take it with me. It saves me a ton of time in the mornings.
This system is powerful enough to crush ice and blend tough ingredients smoothly. Plus, cleaning is easy since most parts are dishwasher safe.
Overall, the Ninja - Professional Plus Kitchen System is a fantastic addition to my kitchen. It's easy to use, efficient, and makes my life a lot easier. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable blender.

Powerful, but loud. This is an upgrade to my previous Ninja blender, so I'm still getting used to the auto-IQ settings, but my husband made a successful fruit smoothie and he gave it high marks. Goes right through ice cubes in no time.
Have not yet used the chop and dough features.
I don't like the suction cup feet because I like to pull the whole unit towards me on the counter. I put little felt feet under each to allow it to slide. I can imagine that sometimes you might want the unit firmly stuck to the counter, but I haven't had a need yet.

This is essentially Ninja’s new model of their previous Mega Kitchen System with 5 preset Auto-iQ programs added. The large capacity and multiple blade systems do a pretty good job of blending and breaking things up. However, I found the 24-ounce single-serve cups with pro extractor blades did a lot better in making smoothies. The 72 oz cup left some larger ice chunks even after a couple runs of the smoothie Auto-iQ option. I found running the Auto-iQ option at least twice on most options seemed to provide more consistent results. The chopping bowl has been nice for chopping vegetables and I was surprised at the speed of the dough blade. I used to think of dough as something that you typically slowly mix, but I made the lemon bar recipe from the manual and it was more like a pie crust, but was smooth and consistent after three auto runs.
I found it kind of strange, but I guess safe at the same time, that you can’t do anything with the blender till the pitcher is locked in and the lid is locked closed as well. However, with the complexity of the lids and the two pitchers they had water trapped in areas when washed. I’ve been hand washing, but I would assume it may leave residue in a dishwasher it only slowly drains from a small hole.
Overall, if you need a food processor style blender, like making smoothies or mixing anything in fairly large quantities, then this package hits the mark.

The kitchen system (aka blender) is terrific. We love the versatility of the blender options, picked up a few more single-serve blender cups. We've only used the food processor one of two times. We use this every single day. And it is perfect, two years on. The one negative, predictable as it may be, is that it's really loud. But it's a blender!

So far so good. I love this product. It does everything I would hope it would do. I’ve now become addicted to smoothies.Chops frozen bananas, and ice cubes with no problem, very powerful. Yes it is a little loud on high, but that doesn’t bother me. Pretty good quality so far the individual cups do not leak. I’m glad I bought this all in one unit.
