Spills coffee when pouring

But everytime you pour the coffee out it spills a little. It isnt just me, my wife also has the same problem. Something wrong with the way the spout is made on the pot. Now I need to try to find the box so I can return this thing. Cant deal with a lifetime of picking up spilled coffee off the counter.

Can't pour without spilling; terrible spout design

It's super wide, and you have to pour at exactly the right angle to ensure you don't get drips off the bottom of the carafe. Want to have to pour coffee into a cup over a sink or a paper towel every morning? This is your machine.

heat plate issue
