I love grilling as much as the next person, but I am not a fan of doing so in 100 degree weather. Pretty dang cool that Ninja came out with this indoor grill that also doubles as a griddle. It easily grills 4 decent size steaks. Temperature can be set as high as 500 degrees, which is great for a nice sear before lowering down to 300 or so to finish steaks off. Because of that high sear heat, you can even get the cool grid grill marks on the meat. I had my parents over and they had no idea that the steaks I made for them on the Ninja were not grilled over a propane grill. The flip down lid is great to keep burgers from spitting, and also helps hold in a little bit of the heat for cooking at lower temps. The Ninja also comes with a griddle. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, they are all easy to prepare on the Ninja. Heating is even, no hotspots that overcook. The griddle, as well as the grill piece are made of a non-stick material that makes cleanup extremely easy. Once the grill is wiped off, it can be placed in the dishwasher for the final wash. I also like the fact that the grill and griddle pieces have a small collection area for grease that is built into them, so you don’t have to worry about putting a bowl under them to collect the drippings. A great tool for grilling in the kitchen that also doubles as a griddle.

This is an excellent cooker for countertop use. When we first unpacked it, we thought there were preset buttons on the front for temp and time, but quickly discovered they were simply suggestions for various types of cooking. For our first use, we cooked some hamburger patties and chicken breasts. Both cooked very well, and in some cases the meat was cooked better than the skillet we generally use on the stove. There were no issues with monitoring the level of cooking for either type of meat. When it came time to clean up, we were a bit surprised to find the cooktops (there's a flat griddle for things like pancakes and a grill for meat and other items) were not safe to wash in the dishwasher. That said, they cleaned easily so not a big deal we couldn't machine wash them. The perforated cover did it good job of minimizing splatter on the counter, and the cover is removeable and can be put in the dishwasher. This grill will get lots of use for our meals. Since it's just the two of us now, we don't need a full size cooking surface for our meals. This is easy to use (just dial in the temp you want and cook away), and is large enough to cook for us both but not take a lot of counter space.

I really like this countertop grill. I've always wanted one, but smoke from cooking is a concern because I have a friend with sensitivity to it. When I heard about this unit, I had to get it. I was skeptical but it really works! I grilled chicken and there was very little smoke with the lid up and even less with it down and I didn't see any splatters which made it even better. There is one drawback, at least at first. When I turned the grill on, as it was heating up it made very loud banging noises and I don't know why. It may be because the unit was brand new and things had to wear in but it was disconcerting. Other than that, it worked perfectly. The clean up was super easy with just soap and water. The cover went in the dishwasher and came out perfect. The grill and griddle plates didn't fit in our dishwasher so they got washed by hand but that wasn't hard at all. Ninja made a fantastic product and I will definitely be using it a lot to make all kinds of things like omelets and steak. There's a guide on the front for which temperature to use with which kind of meat which is very handy, although I was conservative with that on the first try. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I’ve always been a bit of a spectator in the kitchen, more than content to let my wife take the culinary spotlight. Enter the Ninja Smokeless Indoor Griddle, a game-changer that's reshaped our kitchen dynamics. This griddle doesn’t just heat up fast. Eggs, pancakes, bacon is cooked to perfection. Speaking of bacon, it's a relief not having to run and fan my smoke alarm every time we crave a crispy strip. My wife's praises are endless. The evenness of the heat, the ease of flipping pancakes, and the overall efficiency have won her over. For my part, I’ve been eyeing the griddle for my steak-cooking debut. She's not the only one going crazy over this thing. Our son, the bona fide breakfast enthusiast, is eager to experiment more with his morning concoctions. Regarding its functionality and size, I'm considering the purchase of another one for my Dad because he has an RV. Its compact design combined with its high performance makes it a great choice for smaller spaces like in a camper, an RV, or even during a hotel stay. While I still need to spend more time with it personally, the Ninja Smokeless Indoor Griddle is great for its size, usability, and even heat distribution. I can see cooking at home becoming more collaborative, and I believe any household would benefit from purchasing one.

This was an anniversary gift from my girlfriend, and I LOVE it. I have an outdoor grill but as the only meat eater in the house, I am hesitant to fire it up for solo meals. It takes too much time and I don't want to waste the propane on just food for one. This thing solves that problem for me. It's PERFECT for making lunches on remote work days, or when I need to make a solo dinner. It heats up so fast and evenly, and it's nonstick to a fault. I was hesitant to believe it was smokeless as every other indoor grill option I've ever tried (mostly pans) have smoked out the house, but this one is the real deal. You still get a little tiny bit of smoky smell, but for once it doesn't smoke up the kitchen. Couldn't recommend more.

It's all fun and games until you look at the surfaces nearby after cooking. I live in an apartment without an outdoor space where I can cook, and I have never been disappointed in a Ninja product (heck, I even have - and love - their pans!), so I figured it'd be another win. Unfortunately...not so much, at least for anything with grease. Pancakes? Great. Grilled cheese? Perfect. Corn on the cob? Awesome. Hamburger patties? Okay. Bacon? Disaster. I followed the instructions included with the grill to a T for the bacon (using the griddle surface, lid up, at 375 - as it is printed in the included booklet) and when I was finished, every surface (including the wall behind the grill) was covered in grease splatter. Yes, I know bacon grease splatters any way you cook it, but I've never seen this wide of a splatter radius as I did with this. Could it have been the bacon I used? I suppose, but the instructions don't specify what kind of bacon works best with the grill/griddle, so one would think any type would be fine. The burger splattered a little, but I also had the lid down the majority of the time the burgers were cooking, so it didn't get all over. The only other concern I have/had is that while yes, the grill and griddle surfaces are both removable and dishwasher safe, the first time I washed the griddle surface, the coating on the underside (the part that is up against the heating element) has already chipped off showing bare metal. From here on out, I think both pieces will need to be handwashed, unfortunately. Aside from those two issues, I was happy with the grill. It is easy to operate, the cooking space is more than adequate for me, it cooks food evenly, and is easy to clean. Will I keep using it? Of course (for non-greasy foods). Will it be my go-to kitchen appliance? Probably not.

I love this mini grill, it is so convenient and doesn’t splatter oil everywhere when grilling or cooking anything!! Can even make hibachi if you want! Definitely recommend getting if you want something practical and mess free.

This is a good grill that could've even been great but for some unknown reason, the electrical cord provided is ridiculously short. From the owner's manual, Ninja states, "A short power-supply cord is used to reduce the risk of children grabbing the cord or becoming entangled and to reduce the risk of people tripping over a longer cord." I don't quite understand this statement. First, the grill is placed on a countertop which would, in and of itself, be out of reach for children of the age that would be tempted to grab a power cord. Secondly, the grill is placed on a countertop so, unless one plans on walking on said countertop, I can't imagine a situation where someone would trip over a longer cord. I'm making an issue out of this because we have an older kitchen that doesn't have outlets all over the place. As a result, we've had to rearrange the placment of our microwave, toaster and toaster oven just to be able to accommodate this grill in a location suitable to us. In my mind, if I have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get a product to work in my situation, that's a bad sign. And, I can't be the only one with an older kitchen. I'm left to wonder why my other small kitchen appliances don't have a short cord too if the concern is kids and grabbing and people tripping. In addition to this negative, this grill is a bit overpriced for what it does and how it does it. Fortunately it's not all bad, there are some redeeming qualities - it's easy to use and easy to clean; the grill and griddle plates are easily changeable; and, the splatter cover is a nice feature.

The Ninja Sizzle Smokeless Grill is a great way to cook indoors and produce correctly done foods. I comes with 2 plates: (1) Grill for cooking burgers, steaks or delicate foods that need flipping and (2) Griddle for cooking eggs, pancakes, nachos and cheese items. They are both dishwasher safe as is the removable lid, The only control is a temperature knob that goes up to 500º making it easier to sear foods. It has a power light that remains on whenever the power is on. It is not a temperature guide. The surface is ceramic coated that lets you cook without grease. The primary reason for cooking with this device is its smokeless feature. This is the main problem with an indoor grill. Please note that Ninja claims it is smokeless, but it does produce a small amount of smoke, but nothing to be alarmed about. On the griddle plate , I tried making burgers and lamp chops and was extremely successful as these burgers were juicier than my outdoor grill. On the grill plate, I tried making fried eggs and pancakes. I had more success with the pancakes as they were easy to flip without grease. The eggs slightly stuck to the plate making it harder to flip. Adding a cooking spray eliminated this problem. Although I would recommend this grill, I do have some reservations. For a grill selling well over $100, it should also have a temperature control. The power light does not tell you when this grill has reached the proper temperature. The manual asks you to use a timer set at 7 minutes to determine that the grill has reached its proper temperature. A built-in timer would also have been helpful in determining cooking times. Although its size makes it convenient to store on your kitchen counter, it's size (14-1/2 x 9") limits the amount of food you can cook. Four burgers or pancakes is the most you can cook at one time. For a couple this is fine, but this grill would not be suitable for a large family. The Ninja Sizzle Indoor Grill is solid and well built and works perfectly as long as you are aware of its small shortcomings.

Easy cleaning healthy food greag taste and no smoke

I cannot find anything I dislike with this NINJA cook grill and griddle. The steak I cooked had the best grill marks and was delicious. The pancakes cooked a bit fast, so I have learned to use less heat. Love this item

All Ninja products are usually great and the griddle is no exception. It works great and easy to clean up.

Have owned this since February 2024. After few uses it started to no longer keep constant temperature sometimes barely heats up other times gets way hotter than temperature is set at on grill. Griddle is stained despite cleaning right after every use and following directions on using this. I have moved on will not buy another one from Ninja. Really terrible product and hate to post a negative review but want to warn you before you invest your hard earned money on a poor quality product. Love my other Ninja items just this one misses the mark.
