I gotta say I got the Ninja Slushi at the best(worst?) time. We were already without power for 5 days after the hurricane passed and it was upper 80's and humid all week. We ended up buying a generator and the Slushi came in the same day the generator did and the Slushi stole the show, lol. So, we had no ice - it was sold out everywhere - both out fridge and our freezer had to be emptied. So we only had warm or very warm options for drinks to cool down with. The Slushi took care of us. My first run was with one of the prepped smoothie drinks of strawberry and banana (other fruits weren't listed in the description but were in the ingredients and really messed up the flavor). After roughly 20 min on frozen juice pre-set and a setting of 3 for the temp we had a nice cooling refreshing drink. Perfect texture and flow. Second test was with my daughter's drink. Some kind of watermelon drink she brought from a convenience store on her way to visit us. I used the slush setting and 3, but that was a bit too cold and came out too firm. We used the same setting with a tropical punch and had the same result. I think I'll try 1 and move to 2 if that doesn't look good enough. Cleaning was pretty easy, but since we didn't have hot water, I had to wait for the cylinder to warm up before rinsing. We're slowly replenishing our refrigerator after getting power back so we'll be testing more drinks in the upcoming weeks. We went 5 days without power and 3 days on a small 4000w generator to run a small window AC and various electronics. The Slushi is now an essential survival tool for my household! I would have taken pics but we were too eager to cool down to show off our drinks, lol.

It’s also a good option for those who enjoy experimenting with different flavor combinations and textures.  I experimented with a Coke slushy, a spiked mango slushy, and even a chocolate milkshake.  The preset controls for the frozen drinks I just mentioned worked flawlessly.  The thickness and the texture of the drinks poured from the Ninja Slushi were consistent throughout and compatible with a slushy from a restaurant or bar.  I also experimented with a mango margarita wine cocktail with 13.9% alcohol. The Ninja Slushi chilled the mango margarita wine cocktail but did not freeze it. I tried it a couple of times by adding sugar and water to the margarita wine, but it did not get to a slushy consistency. The margarita wine I used had little sugar. This Ninja Slushi can not make slushy drinks without sugar, either in the liquid mix or by adding granulated sugar. This may pose a problem for consumers who have to limit their sugar intake. I also experimented with operating the Ninja Slushi on the deck of my outdoor pool. Because of the warm weather, the Ninja Slushi did not create slush drinks. The Ninja Slushi has to be in an indoor setting to make slush drinks consistently. Cleaning the Ninja Slushi was a breeze.   After finishing the frozen drinks, I rinsed the clear plastic container by pouring hot water and pressing the rinse control button.  After a few minutes, I stopped the motor to turn off the Ninja Slushi. I removed the plastic container, blade, and condensation catch. I washed them with mild soap and water and towel-dried all the parts.  I would not recommend placing the Ninja Slushi parts in a dishwasher. The heating cycle in the dishwasher might cloud the clear plastic container. The Ninja Slushi is a solid choice if you’re looking for a reliable, easy-to-use machine that can handle multiple frozen drink tasks.  It deserves a place on your countertop.

Best slushy maker on the market! Can’t wait for summer to have some adult beverages on a hot summer day

I have purchased many slushie makers trying to find that commercial grade replicator at a reasonable price- this is it! Love how you can literally do anything from a slushie lens. The milkshake was not as good as something youd get out, but still decent quality. It over delivers on slushie expectation and makes the perfect one everytime.

I didn’t buy this through Best Buy because it is never in stock, but I was able to get this elsewhere and it is a huge hit! From frozhe mimosas to milkshakes to slush drinks and more, this is a must have. Easy set up, easy clean up, straight to the point directions.

So much fun to use! Grandchildren and neighborhood favorite!

Wish I had gotten one of these sooner! Need to try more recipes but the ones I have tried are great and the machine works great.

My review is not for the actual machine since I have yet to be able to use it. Unfortunately, the ninja slushie box came with a large hole in it, as it looks like someone may have got mad and tried to kick the box in with the size of it, or maybe they just threw it around alot during delivery. Its not just the outside packing box, but both it and the actual machine box. Since I'm not sure if this could have actually did some damage to it, instead of risking it and ending up with issues with the machine, I'll be returning it to try and get a new one.

Last year, it was the creami. This year the slushi takes the crown for the 2024 not needed but most wanted appliance. Great for summer parties outdoor with friends and family.

Why did you guys increase the price? I understand demand, but to raise it $50 after it took forever to get back in stock is wrong. I had it in my save for later ever since the holidays. Now, I wont be buying this.
