This is definitely the air fryer of all air friers to get. The volume that this thing can hold is perfect for cooking almost a full meal in what I would consider to be a more economical and healthier way. In terms of versatility, it's like having two ovens in one because in one drawer you can cook one item at one temperature and time and in the other drawer you can cook a completely different item at a different temperature and time. I have often found with my old air fryer that I'd still tend to cook things in the oven or on a grill (like chicken patties or fish) while cooking fries or another side in the air fryer. Having this machine cuts the need to use the oven or grill completely out and cuts down on the overall time to prepare a meal at the same time. The controls are easy to use and there are pre-set settings for cooking different foods and there is an option to cook using a temperature probe, which is another feature that makes this machine so versatile. It literally seems like it'll replace many uses of the oven over the long run and cut down on energy use while making it easier to make complete meals using fewer appliances and pans. So far, I can say it's great and distributes heat evenly throughout the food and it cooked fries and chicken tenders well and evenly. It is setup to work on most countertops though you'll want to make sure your cupboards are high enough for it to sit under. Mine fit it perfectly and it sits nice inside the corner. So far, I've enjoyed using it and I've been thinking of new ways to use it where I have so much more cooking space/versatility. I'd absolutely recommend this machine!

Large Capacity in a Smaller Footprint

This air fryer has a large capacity, but hides that with a clever footprint to make it appear that it takes up less space. It has a 10 quart capacity (two 5 quart baskets) but does so with a unique design that takes up less space. The heating element and fan are in the back of the unit. This makes it a bit deeper and taller than a traditional air fryer, but it is slimmer so it gives the appearance of taking up less volume. I was a bit worried that it would be too big, but the size is perfect. It fits on a normal countertop under upper cabinets with plenty of room. The baskets also come with an additional rack. This means that you can cook 4 different things at the same time. The rack provides additional airflow because of how open it is, making things extra crispy. There are two ways that you can use both baskets - you can Match Cook where the same time and temperature applies to both baskets, or use Smart Finish so that you can cook at different temperatures and times but have them finish at the same time. You can also have the operate independently where one basket would finish before the other. Something unique to this air fryer is that it has a dehydrate function. I have found it perfect for dehydrating fruit which I then use later in cocktails or lemonades. I never expected an air fryer could do that. It also has a thermometer that stores behind the control panel (this was a nice touch so that you always know where it is). Clean up is easy. Simply remove any racks and the This is a large capacity air fryer with versatile cooking methods that is easy to recommend.

The Ninja DoubleStack is easy to use, cleans up fast & easy .Food tastes delicious. Nice to be able to cook more than one thing and have them ready at the same time. Also does not take up a lot of room on your counter.

The Ninja- DoubleStack XL 2-basket air fryer is amazing. I never thought that having two separate baskets could make such a difference when it came to cooking something different. It is very simple to use and even more simple to clean. One little flaw I so see is the design is it has these little plastic legs on the trays that separate the fat, and I can see that being a problem for cleaning because they are a soft plastic and are not removable. Other than that, all I can say is that it is a Ninja appliance, and you can never go wrong with a Ninja. Technology has come a very long way and who knew cooking could be so simple. Many meals can be prepped with a couple pushes of buttons and it makes life so much easier for us who are very busy and may not have time to do full meal preps on a regular cooktop. I Have enjoyed some nice crispy chicken wing and some veggies. I would highly recommend this air fryer to anyone looking to up their game in the kitchen. Only flaw is mentioned above and overall it is well built.

The Ninja double stack XL 10 QT smart cook system. This six-and-one-two-basket air fryer is a crowd-pleaser and a countertop-friendly compact unit. The smart cook system is amazing. It offers one-button cooking for any cook, from chef to teenager. The 10-quart capacity lets you cook meals for the whole crew. You can also cook your side dishes and your main course at the same time. And within the frying system, you know, now there's less fat than deep frying. You can use the included racks to cook different items at one time. You also get a Ninja Ninja thermometer that acts as a probe to guarantee good cooking every time. And that matters when cooking raw meats. It also includes a cookbook to help you with up to nine recipes. I love the air frying way that's going, but Ninja has improved it again. It has a 6 and-1 functionality that lets you air fry and broil roast, bake, reheat, and dehydrate. So, if you're new to our friend or a veteran like me, check this out. You will fall in love.

    Different But Better Air Fryer

First off, it isn't easy to use even with the instructions provided. For example, changing the temperature changes the different types of cooking methods. This is something I am not used to compared to my old air fryer. Our old air fryer was also quicker to cook. So, therefore, we cannot fully reference the instructions on bags of food anymore. However, it has two decks so I can cook two foods at once. Before, it took 15 minutes to air fry the chicken and another 15 for the fries. Now it's 20 minutes to accomplish fries on its own. It's nearly double the time. The major pro that this air fryer has is that you can set two different temperatures between the two baskets. If we're cooking multiple types of food this air fryer is great. However, our old air fryer was faster at cooking one type of food. Secondly, the food can fall to the bottom of the basket. There is a tray that sits slightly above the bottom. Your food can get trapped in there. We made fries and found out a few fell through the small openings. It is not a perfect seal to prevent food from falling through. To get the few fries that fell there, we had to use a butter knife to pry it open. It would've been too hot for us to touch. What we found odd is that it continued to run when we checked on our food. Our old air fryer would stop heating when we checked on the food. This one will continue to run. We suppose it's to keep a similar temperature going but it seemed like a good safety feature our old one had. If you think of this product as not just an air fryer but also an oven, it makes sense that this does not behave like the normal air fryer we're used to. For instance, there is a thermometer you can use on the bottom basket. You push it through a hole, that then pokes your food, and then it will display on the screen. For instance, you can cook a small-sized chicken and read the temperature throughout the process. This is far easier to clean because the baskets are small and separated. Our old air fryer could probably cook the same amount of food but with the basket being so big, it was annoying to clean in our sink. It was hard to rinse properly. That is not the case with these baskets. Overall, we would recommend this to our family and friends. Easier to clean and you're able to cook more food at once. It seems like there is a learning curve for our new cooking times, new features to discover, and new food to cook. For someone who does not have an oven, this could be a good replacement. Also, I will say, the food we have tried out of this so far, has been tastier and crispier compared to our other machine. Nothing has come out burnt so far, which was easy to accomplish in our old air fryer.

Solidly Built, Space Saving, Quiet & Quick Cooking

I use my air fryer regularly. I was using another Ninja model single basket air fryer, but decided to upgrade to this model. The major draw for me was the space saving design and capability of cooking multiple things at once, using different temperatures and times. I've used it a few times so far and been reasonably pleased with the results. Cleaning the product is really quite easy. You just have to slide out the baskets and give them a good soak and you're back in business. The crisping tray and wire racks come in and out pretty easily. I love the narrow design of this unit. It saves a lot of counter space. I have a pretty small kitchen and so having room to use this appliance and still use a cutting board and prep area is essential. It's tall and deep, but not super wide. I've cooked cinnamon rolls in it. I made chicken thighs and potatoes. It's pretty easy to find a way to use this for almost anything you're cooking. The guidebook shows a lot of options for food times and temps. When cooking chicken and potatoes, I had to use a different temp and time for each. It took some maneuvering to get it set the way I needed. It's not terribly clear in the instructions as it just tells you to choose match cook for about everything. However, match cook runs at 450 degrees. I finally figured out that the double stack pro button gives me the ability to mismatch the cook times and temps. That being said, there's a small problem with this. In my case, the chicken needed to cook less than the potatoes. So if you start them both at the same time it will be done before the other. It'll still be somewhat warm, but you never want to leave it sitting too long to dry out or get cold. A nice feature would be if it was capable to starting the second basket to ensure they finish at the same time. Nevertheless, the food came out great and it was a breeze to clean up. I'm sure if I tinker some more with the cooking options I'll gain a lot better understanding of some of the features. It offers air fry, reheat, bake, dehydrate, broil and roast as cooking options. The unit isn't terribly loud and it vents out the side so you don't need to worry much about it tearing up your walls/backsplash. When it finishes a cook cycle it does a quick cooldown phase as well. I assume this is to keep you from getting burnt if you decided to clean it right away. It's a nice upgrade from a single basket unit. It comes with a temp probe so you can even cook whole roasts or chickens and use the probe to control cooking. I would recommend this to others. Another solidly built product from Ninja.

The Ninja DoubleStack XL Smart 10 QT 6-in-1 Air Fryer is a game-changer for anyone looking to streamline meal prep while achieving crispy, delicious results with minimal effort. With its large capacity and innovative design, this air fryer offers a variety of cooking functions, making it more than just an air fryer. The 10-quart capacity, divided into two independent baskets, allows you to cook two different foods simultaneously, using different settings for each, which is perfect for anyone looking to cook full meals or multiple parts of a meal without blending flavors or textures. One of the standout features is the Smart Cook System, which takes the guesswork out of achieving the perfect doneness. Whether you’re air frying, roasting, broiling, baking, or dehydrating, this system monitors the internal temperature of your food with the included Smart Thermometer, ensuring precise cooking every time. The Smart Finish feature is particularly useful, automatically synchronizing the cooking of two different foods so they finish at the same time. This eliminates the hassle of trying to time everything perfectly and ensures both dishes are hot and ready to serve together. You still need to shake food in the drawers or else you will get uneven cooking. The heating element is stronger in the front of the drawers which means you must shake the drawers to get even cooking. The space-saving design is another bonus if you the countertop clearance. While countertop space is saved, it won’t matter if you can’t fit the double stack under your upper cabinets. The air fryer also reduces oil consumption by up to 75%, making it a healthier alternative to traditional frying methods. The interface is user-friendly, featuring intuitive controls and pre-set cooking programs that allow for easy adjustments. Cleaning is a breeze, with both baskets and crisper plates being dishwasher-safe. While the appliance is a bit bulky, its versatile functionality and convenience make it well worth the counter space. In the end, you do save time cooking in the double stack, however it is still a bulky appliance that may not fit under your upper cabinets in the kitchen and you need to shake the drawers to ensure a consistently cooked product
