Great for whipping up smoothies Very Simple to use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So this is my first blender. I got this because I had watched a few documentaries on juice cleanses and the benefits of real health drinks. Setup was simple and straight forward. This thing destroys ice and everything I've put it in so far haha. I have noticed when using some vegetables with the skin that it's a little chunky not as smooth some other items. I personally love the touch screen. With this getting messy sometimes It made cleanup a breeze and it looks cool with the led on the counter. Everything can be put in the dishwasher excluding the base of course. To sum it up this thing is my new food buddy heading to a healthier and tastier lifestyle! It's stylish in design and powerful in function. Would definitely recommend it to others

A Good Powerful Blender
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What's in the box ----------------- 30-Recipe inspiration guide Ninja Smart Screen 72-Oz. Blender Total Crushing pitcher Pros ---- 1. Its just beautiful. Looks good on my new kitchen 2. The Jar is BPA free plastic and not glass 3. powerful, can crush ice and make good smoothies 4. Touchscreen, no mess and its waterproof. Cons ---- 1. Only one jar. I would love to have one more smaller jar. 2. Multiple blades, is it truly functional or hype? It is difficult to clean The Review ---------- I have a blendtec blender for some reason when i shake the motor, i feel some part is loose as i could hear something inside as if a coin got stuck. Hence i had to send it for repairs. As a temporary replacement, i got this. I have to be fair, i cannot compare a 100$ blender apples to apples to a 300$ blender. But i think i am fairly pleased with the results. The Blender has 4 Auto-iQ modes - (smoothie, pulse, frozen drink and ice cream). it also has 3 manual modes - Low, High and Pulse. I typically use the smoothie mode or the high mode and run it for a duration i would like to. I have to say that the smoothies made of ice, blueberry and strawberries came out fairly smooth. If not as smooth as the blendtec, i was very satisfied. I think the construction is also more sophisticated than the blentec and love the way the jar/pitcher locks in place with the blender motor. I also like the lid better than the blendtec. its looks like of very good quality. I have to also say that the touch screen is also waterproof and i could easily wipe it off when something gets on it, unlike buttons wherein i could say that food particles can get stuck between them. I cook a lot of Indian food, we need to make batter with rice and pulses for an Indian dish called "dosa" and the batter came out to be very smooth almost same as what my blendtec would do. Noise wise, i think it matches the blendtec, not too loud but again, its a blender, i think the noise is proportional to blending power so i do not expect it to be quiet. Overall, i am satisfied with the blender and i will recommend it.

To replace Oster blender
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my Oster blender that I have had for over 25 years. It is loud and leaves “chunky” pieces of fruit no matter what setting I use. Not impressed for the money and the hype.

Ninja - Smart Screen Blender
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've been Ninja lovers for years - this is our third and what a treat! No more heavy motor to try to fit perfectly and balance just right on top of the pitcher! The motor is in the base. Fewer parts to clean and keep track of. This is our favorite one of all! Makes smooth smoothies with just a press of a button on a touchscreen! No more holding down the motor button and counting while trying not to lose count. The machine knows when the smoothie is ready - it’s pre-timed! You can make smoothies, ice cream (we made nice cream with bananas, and coconut cream – no sugar and the kids didn’t even notice!), and frozen drinks for the grown-ups (yummy margaritas!) The possibilities are endless. We’ve had fun making easy sauces, guacamole, homemade hummus, and snow cones. It’s nice to have just the one perfectly sized, sturdy, and well-made pitcher and not have to find storage for a bunch of other random pitchers and parts. You can make a small amount or large; it doesn’t matter! It easily fits in my cabinet, but we keep it on the counter because we use it daily. It was packaged well, everything in perfect condition and in only two parts. No extra accessories to get lost or to store. So in less than 5 minutes it was out of the box, washed with warm soapy water, and ready for use! The top blender out there costs about $400, but I think this one works just as well and I’m really happy with it!

I love it!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want to make smoothies and other things in a flash you have to get this blender. For most blenders you have keep blending until you finish. This thing does it for you! I made a smoothie and that's exactly what it was, smooth. No chunks. And it's powerful too! I love the touchscreen also. You will not go wrong if you decide to purchase this blender. Trust me. It's powerful enough for it to do what you need it to do.

Great option comparable to Blendtec and Vitamix
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ninja has really come a long way in my opinion. This blender totally gives Blendtec and Vitamix a run for their money. I love how well it crushes ice for smoothies. We only use it once a day and so far it is holding up nicely. This device is digital so after plugging it in you press the digital power button and then select a program, and watch the device come to life. The pitcher is large. Which is good if you want to make smoothies for multiple people. But if you are single it might be too big for your needs. It is easy to disable and clean. Everything but the base can go in the dishwasher but I tend to hand wash it anyways. I personally like the locking lid. it is such a good feeling to know it is locked and not coming off when you turn it on to blend.

Well built and performs
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Ninja Smart Blender is pretty good when it comes to blending. It comes with a 72oz pitcher and is great for creating frozen drinks, purees or just plain blending. The first time I used this unit it was to create some fruit smoothies. Used frozen strawberries and bananas (they were fresh, but hold up better when blending if frozen). The blender base unit comes with several pre-programmed settings, I used the smoothie setting and it stopped and started the cycle automatically to maximize the blending process. in addition the feet of the blender have suction cups on them so the unit does not do a walk across your counter or prep area, very ingenious. In any case the end result of the blending process, was a perfect smoothie. The pitcher comes with a lid that clamps down and becomes super secure (this is one of the few blenders I felt comfortable not holding the top on during the blending process. The blender unit is fairly loud, but not more than most, it has a separate opening for pouring whatever you made into cups, very handy. Overall I am very happy with this setup and look forward to continued use. Pros: - powerful - pre programmed settings and modes that actually do something Cons: - loud

A whole new meaning to "blender"
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You tend to think that a blender is a blender is a blender. At least I always did. But not anymore. Not since the Ninja Smart Screen Blender came along. No way. This thing will take out a city block if you’re not careful. It’s large and powerful with a safety feature that requires the lid to be in place and locked down before the unit can be switched on. It has, in addition to the usual variable speeds, several pre-set programs for things like smoothies, pureeing, and ice cream. I’ve so far used it to make a strawberry smoothie and a nice alfredo sauce for pasta. Both turned out very well, and the blender is just plain fun to use. If you need a blender, and who doesn’t, you will enjoy using this one. So much so that you’ll probably think up things to make just to have an excuse to use it.
