The Ninja - Smart Screen 72-Oz. Blender is really a great blender that is easy to use and very powerful. Assembly, disassembly, and cleaning are all very easy and straightforward but be careful with the blades! This should be a no brainer but it should be noted that they are very sharp and need to be removed when you pour without the lid on since they can come out on their own and slice your hand if you’re not careful. As previously stated, this blender is very powerful and does a great job crushing / blending ice and other frozen products such as fruit for the perfect smoothie. Cleaning is easy since the whole unit (aside from the base obviously) is dishwasher safe. Overall this is a great blender and I highly recommend it!

So this Ninja blender looks like a beast when sitting on your counter. It has a commanding presence and look to it. The blade tower within the jar looks impressive and it looks like something that can crush and destroy anything you will put in this jar. This blender jar is a big jar that can hold a lot of liquid within it. It's a big massive bottle so if you have counter top with low cabinets it may be difficult to keep this on the counter. The base of the unit is pretty self explanatory and easy to use. Touch like interface is unique and responsive. The motor and horsepower within the base unit can crank out some serious power and the noise to go with it. So if you're looking for a quiet blender this isn't the one for you. I'm a junkie smoothie and make about 2 per day for our household. My usual smoothies are fairly simple and I like to have them come out clean and smooth. Fruit, yogurt, liquid, ice, seeds, and frozen fruits. This is a regular type of thing in our smoothie mix and unfortunately this blender can't make it smooth. Instead it chops it up and crushes things, but it leaves a gritty texture. I can't figure out why a blender with all these blades can't properly smooth out the texture to make it smooth and velvety. I have had a Vitamix 6300 in the past and yes it costs a small fortune for such a blender, but it truly pulverized food and impressively made a smoothie that was on par with something served at a fancy restaurant. So overall, I would say this Ninja blender is good, but not great. I recommend this blender to anyone looking for something better than a $30 Black and Decker. You can't compete with the quality and product of a high end blender like a Vitamix, but the cost also is 5 times higher. This Ninja blender is a sweet spot for a budget that meets the needs for most, but unfortunately I think it can't blend all that well. Also an issue for me is the razor sharp blade tower and cleaning them. With the loose razor setup and not truly locking in, I feel like this is a safety issue and this shouldn't be something that is available to consumers in it's current state.

I have used different brands of blenders and Ninja - Smart Screen 72-Oz. Blender one is the best one of them all. My wife made first smoothie with it. She made one without using the FreshVac and another one with the FreshVac. The taste was really good using FreshVac. It came with various parts. 20 oz. single serve FreshVac cups with lids, 72 oz. I love the power that this Ninja blender has. I previously had a Blendtec blender (that cost significantly more than the Ninja) - and I am very impressed with the overall performance / power and price of this Ninja blender. Winner, winner, chicken dinner...

Ninja has always been a favorite of mine and this blender continues that trend. It’s easy to use, has the power to blend frozen items with easy, and the controls (including touch) make this one of the best blenders I have used. I would highly recommend it!

I wasn’t a big smoothie drinker, after getting this blender I started to make them more and more. My main reason for not drinking smoothies is I don’t want to taste the bits of fruit or veggies, I have never had that issue with this blender. It is very powerful and really blends everything to liquid. I have used it to also crush is ice to make my kids slushees. I am very happy with the performance.

We replaced a Ninja Pro 1000 with this model. The plastic jug was cracking and we were concerned it would shatter when running one day. To just buy the older style jug would have cost almost as much as a new blender so we just opted to replace it. This blender is an improvement. We were literally able to go from one day to the next, making the same smoothies as we always do so a comparison was easy. It is definitely noisier! It took my wife a little getting used to but it is not the quietest. On the smoothie setting, it only needs to run for a minute and that is not continuous so it is bearable. The touchscreen is nice and looks very slick. We only used the smoothie function so far so once you have all the ingredients loaded up and the top on securely, you push the Smoothie button and it takes care of things. You can even walk off and do something else for the duration (60 seconds in this case) which we could not do before. The program has different speeds and pauses which seem to really help. We notice it speeds up and stops to make the heavy items fall to the bottom and then it gets up to speed again. The fruits and vegetables do end up blended much better into the liquid than the previous blender could manage and it therefore makes much bigger drinks as more is being cut up and blended in. We are now able to add the protein powder at the same time as everything else whereas before, if we did that, it would create its own layer which was not very palatable. All in all, this is a great improvement over the previous model and although it does not have the Vac capability of the more expensive Ninjas, I don't feel we needed it and this one hits it out the park.

I want of those guys that think that they're all the same. but this blender is not the same as every other blender out there. It has an engine like a mustang it chops through any and everything and make him protein shakes and smoothies have never been easier in my house. The kids love it for a snack and I can't wait to use it over the summer. Wish I would have gotten one sooner.

I have another Ninja with lots of programmed settings with can be a bit confusing but this Ninja has only 4 programmed settings. So with only 4 programmed settings, things were faster and quicker to decide what settings to use and the motor is just as powerful. The cap is a bit more difficult to align but once done, forms a better seal and easier to pour with the stay close spout. Like my other Ninja, the control panel buttons are sealed so no issue with water or spills damaging the buttons. So overall, a better cap design, Ninja powerful motor with durable blades, a great simplier program settings with powerful chopping, crushing, grinding and pureeing power. A keeper and main stay. Easy cleanup.
