Love this blender, it purées pretty much everything

My daughter wanted a good smoothie maker that broke down the veggies really well. In that respect this product was great. The freshvac attachment was the issue. On several occasions it vacuumed out the liquid and you can't get into it to clean it so it got moldy. We returned it and got the Ninja without the freshvac.

I have a regular blender but I decided it was time for a upgrade since mine could not crush ice cubes… You won’t believe how exited I was when I got this Ninja Smart Screen Blender and Food Processor! At first, I was feeling a little lost with all the parts and pieces, but than I found my place, thanks to the quick guide. I love how beautiful and fancy it looks. The light up touch screen panel is just awesome! It has very strong suction cups on the bottom of its feet so it doesn't move while blending. The blades are VERY sharp! I cut myself while washing it before my first use, so please be super careful when handling them. The freshvac system is pretty cool and it makes a lot of difference. It made my smoothie a lot creamier! I also love the fact that this pulses on its own and then turn itself off. Just awesome! This food processor allows me to grind my own meat, which is perfect! And the slicing/shredding disc helps you create amazing salads! Overall, I am very happy with this and I highly, highly recommend it!!!

It’s a little step up from a regular blender but it’s To noisy!

I got the blender because we wanted to make gyros. But ended up using it for lots of other things.

It is a great product. Works well for most things. The only issue being it can't blend hot soups.

Features - There are 9 preset Auto IQ settings which takes out all the guess work as to when the smoothies, purees, dips, etc. are done. I like that. The perfect smoothie, drink, soup or puree every time. The FreshVac is really a great invention. It holds in the flavors of the ingredients without all the excess liquid from them as well as maintaining the color and freshness of any fruit, especially bananas. It runs on 6 AA batteries included with the system. There is also and AC adapter, but I have yet to be able to purchase it on the Ninja site as it’s been sold out for a while. The Food processor (aka Precision Processing Tool) is great for chopping, bread dough and Pureeing. The only drawback is that, like the blender and 20oz mugs, it’s plastic and the mixture to puree has be cool before putting it in either the blender or the food processor. It’s perfect for making your own dips. I made my own Hummus and Spinach/artichoke dip and they both came out delicious. It also comes with a feed chute which makes it easy to add your ingredients. I like the Shredding/slicing disc which makes grating cheese and veggies a breeze. It also comes with a dough blade assembly, which I haven’t tried yet but will be soon. The 20oz mug is very handy to blend and drink and go. It comes with a handy drinking cover that locks so nothing spills out. The little menu book comes in very handy as it tells you how to load the ingredients for your drink or smoothie to get the best blend and flavor. It also has recipes for the food processor for dips, purees, and soups. There are more recipes on the Ninja website as well. The base is very sturdy and actually grips to the counter with 4 little suction cups to keep it from bouncing around. It also has a safety so that it won’t run until it’s properly locked in place. The suction cups grip so well, it’s sometimes a bit of a struggle to remove it from my granite counter. It’s also perfect for mixed drinks and Holiday punches (using the pitcher yields about 4 servings). Cons – There’s only one that comes to mind, and that’s the fact that the pitcher and food processor container are made of plastic, so soups and purees need to cool before blending and then re-heated. I wish they were heat resistant glass so that they could withstand hot liquid. It only comes with a 1 year warranty, where most other kitchen blenders, food processors, etc. come with a 2-3 year warranty some of which can be extended. If you are looking for a blender, food processor all in one, especially to save space, this will work perfectly. Just keep in mind that hot ingredients must be cooled down before using the Ninja Kitchen system. I give it 4 stars only because the containers are plastic for the blender and food processor.
