Other reviews and it’s own guide indicates it can get quite hot (and it does). First meal was T-bones, Timing was different but it did produce some pretty tasty steaks. Cleanup was good because the grill could be cleaned in the sink. However, there was a lot of grease splatter on the inside of the lid which took some effort to thoroughly clean. I wonder about the slow long cook things like brisket because of the temperature the grill plate achieves. Maybe I’ll follow up once I do that.

And the internal temperature of the meat is always off.

My husband LOVES this product!
