The card packs are really for getting exclusive main characters from the series, like Isabelle or Digby. Everyone else can be unlocked through regular play. But, it's fun to connect the cards nonetheless.

my kids wanted these to play the wii u animal crossing game... i just dont like the wii u animal crossing... the board game style does not allow the kind of play i initially was expecting, and buying cards to enhance the game kinda is disappointing...

My wife and daughter love Animal Crossing and the concept of the cards is great, but they are way over priced. These should be $1.99 a pack. Would buy more if the price was lower.

While I still have the collectors mentality to get the full set I must admit this set is not as fun as the original so certain special crads repeat themself.

If you or your child enjoy collecting these and have the animal crossing games, this is a good purchase. Just expect to buy far more cards than you need in order to collect the entire series.

The cards are nice to look at, but they don't really do much in-game. They are used in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, and support was recently added for Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

A cheap & easy way to use with some Nintendo games. They work just like they should.

I ve gotten the same card like about A MILLION TIMES PEOPLE it is disappointing but the cards are amazing but still the same card stresses me out

Cool cards to collect, but not very useful unless you have the animal crossing games to go along with them.

Unfortunately this series of amiibo cards doesn't provide much in animal crossing new leaf.

Before I even picked up Series 3, Series 4 has already been announced... I feel Nintendo is going overboard with these cards but like with all the past series I will buy one pack just because :D

Originally, I only bought these cards to have them in my collection and look at them from time to time, but ever since the free Welcome Amiibo update for Animal Crossing: New Leaf, I now have use for these cards. With this November 2016 update, you can now scan these cards into your game in order to get items or make the villager on that card move in! The only con about these cards is that they're a bit pricier than certain trading cards. You're paying about $1 per card, and if you wanted to collect every card, you would have to pay at least $400. That's not something I'm trying to do, but even so, if I buy more, I will probably buy them when they are on sale (which they already are at other retailers).

If you are a fan of Animal Crossing, you definitely have to get these. The pack comes with 6 cards total and they are so colorful and well done.

These are fun cards, even just aesthetically. I don't like the idea of blind packages, but they are too cute to pass up.
