Excellent quality, decent unlockable

As for gameplay, all they unlock is a costume, so I would be aware of that if you are under the impression that they will do more. Not as useful as Breath of the Wild amiibo but still neat.

Bowser rocks that suit!

The spikes feel good to the touch and not flimsy as if made from cheap material. Bowser is super useful for unlocking the ability to see where the regional coins are too if you've given up the search (don't give up!), and his wedding outfit for Mario is cool! Get this one if you have to choose one - if possible, just go for the 3-pack.
