These amiibos show a lot of detail and add some cool gear to the game a must buy for any splatoon fan.

The Pearl and Marina amiibo have expressive poses and are as vibrant as they look in the promo photos. The care in the minor details are wonderful. They unlock in game bonuses in Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3.

This is actually the first amiibo set I first bought and I absolutely love it. I decided to keep mine in the box as the in-game features wouldn’t be too useful overtime. The Pearl and Marina set looks very well detailed and is a great collector’s item for those that collect amiibo and are Splatoon fans. Hopefully, the Squid Sisters set gets a rerelease, especially for those who never got their hands on it the first time.

I feel that Splatoon is getting too many amiibo releases. As a collector I enjoy getting my hands on new amiibo, but I still care about quality over sheer quantity. These amiibo have so much personality in them rivaling some of my favorite. They encapsulate the characters of Marina and Pearl perfectly. The quality is as good as you would expect and I think the recent price increase IS being reflected with higher quality.

You would think the amiibo trend would have died out by now but it seems they're still going strong. These are some of the best amiibo quality wise especially since they're larger than most of the smash ones, so the detail shows much better. To be honest they don't add much in terms of functionality to Splatoon 2 aside from in game photos but they make a great addition for collectors with the rest of the Splatoon crew.
