I’ve been collecting them as a fan of the franchise and almost have them all. The Amiibo chip scans perfectly but as this is a special character you cannot invite him to be a resident. He can come take pictures on Harv’s Island though. Exactly what I wanted but the well done paint job and texturing is a bonus as it is rare with figures these days.

This wonderfully made Blathers amiibo will make any fan be filled with glee and feel jolly good that you made the purchase. A must buy for any animal crossing fan, as you can scan this amiibo with most animal crossing games (Amiibo Festival Wii U, Happy home designer 3DS, and New Horizon on Switch).
