Nintendo Kirby Series King Dedede Amiibo
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The figure does what it's supposed to do (Unlock Bonus Content) in Kirby games for the Wii U and 3DS. There is a bonus functionality in that Kirby, Meta Knight, and King Dedede can be used in in Super Smash Brothers Wii U and 3DS in addition or instead of the very rare Kirby SSB figures.

Works with Smash, but a downgrade in quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm so glad that Nintendo listened to its customers and released a second print of the rare amiibos. That being said, I am very upset with the lack of quality that this figure has. The first print was beautiful. It was very detailed and colorful with a strong attention to detail that is expected from a collectible miniature. This newest print however is far from that. There are noticeable lines in the plastic where the piece is seamed together. There is a flatness to the colors and the gloss makes the piece look cheap plastic. This is far from the level of quality that Nintendo delivered with it's original prints, and that is disheartening. King Dedede is my favorite character in Smash, which makes this amiibo that much more disappointing.

Solid Figure

That one has a better pose and better details. This one's up side is that it's easier to find and therefore cheaper to buy.
