More value as a collectible for many
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Short and simple: Nintendo didn't invent the NFC technology, nor were they the 1st to use them in video game hardware...but they've changed things a bit with Amiibo. Unlike Skylanders, you can use these same characters in DIFFERENT games, not just 1, or even 1 type. There is a lot of potential here. Pikachu is now a legend for many kids that grew up with Pokemon. Not much of a figher, but it's a pretty neat addition to the Amiibo collection.

Gotta Catch em All!!

I would've hesitated getting it if it was just for Super Smash, but the compatibility with a few current games and upcoming games made it worth while.

Kids love this character

Clearly they HAD to have it, and they enjoy using it with the Super Smash Brothers video game.
