Ryu from the Street Fighter series was a surprise DLC announcement from Sakurai, and his abilities in Smash do not disappoint! He is very unique, in that he has tons of combo moves inherited from Street Fighter, but this also makes it more challenging to master all of his moves. His amiibo looks terrific, and benefits from being released later (now that Nintendo has worked out the kinks in the manufacturing process). A must buy, especially for Street Fighter fans!

This character takes me back to my childhood in arcades..the good ol days. My daughter is going to be surprised when she sees I purchased this for her and now the amiibo hobby has become something we both do together.

My kids were disappointed with this item. Wii not be buying any more amibbo characters.

It's amazing how they released Ryu as a playable character in the smash brothers lineup. His abilities in game are great. The amiibo looks just as nice and detailed . Definitely worth the purchase

Yes! I was so excited to see the new amiibo line up including bayonetta and Famicom ROB!! These will truly be some awesome amiibos to play with.

Ryu lookin' great! Was glad he was put into SSBWU. BB is the only place so far that have preorder for Ryu. Get it ASAP.

They are easily the best part of this generation of the Super Smash Bros. game and a collector's must-have.

Here comes another great amiibo. Ryu has joined the line and they captured his pose very well! Great detail overall for this amiibo.

Who would've thought Nintendo would get to produce a Capcom legend in their Amiibo series? I'm thankful they did. Ryu is an awesome addition to Super Smash Brothers and the sculpt of this figure is just as good!

I bought this because it was a good price on a high quality figurine of Ryu, a classic video game character. As a purely physical item, it's well made and I think it will look great on my desk. As an Amiibo, it is pretty limited though, only working with Smash Bros and Super Mario Maker, unless I'm mistaken. Still a neat figure though.

Great for collectors. Doesn't do much outside of Smash Bros. for Wii U or 3DS, but cool collectible to have. Might have more uses down the road though.

This si the Ryu Amiibo, the details are good on it and you are able to add him to Smash Bros. I used it for collectors item.

Have been waiting for this guys for awhile. Well made looks great even when not playing the game. Definitely must have.

This figure looks fantastic and is very detailed. Not many games use this figure but it looks awesome one my shelf

The detail in this little statuette is pretty incredible. Wish they would do some other street fighter characters.

Main character in Street Flighter. Palutena is a great character in Smash and the amiibo looks pretty good. As a side note, this was by far the best experience I've had trying to get an exclusive amiibo. All of the amiibo pre-orders should be handled this way!
