The in-game benefits are decent, mostly with the new looking armor.

While I would loved to see updated firmware for the 'new' version, I'll have to settle for the cool factor of him living on my shelf.

Great Collectible, Better Unlockables

As a method for unlockables, the main game especially adds a variety of more content that makes it overall a very enjoyable experience to be had. Very much worth the purchase.
