Because the character is simple in design, it looks smooth and nicely detailed without losing much in transition to figure where some of the more complex Amiibo suffer. On top of that, I'm sure you won't find any other Mother 3 merch outside of Japan than this fella. Plus if you scan it with Mario Maker, or Smash Bros, you get exclusive content! PK AWESOME!
