I never played the original Xenoblade Chronicles game on the Wii but it did come to the 3DS and soon to the Switch. I originally purchased this to use with the 3DS Xenoblade Chronicles 3DS game as it gives you tokens in game to unlock 3D models of game characters and music. Hopefully this will work with the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition coming out on 5/29/20. It does look pretty cool though if you just want to collect Amiibos.

The worst face on any amiibo
