I feel like it wastes people’s time and money after a while. Especially when you only need to track down one or two specific cards. Also Nintendo needs to start putting 3 special characters cards in a pack to balance out the overflow of regular villager cards that you get.

Very addictive, but Nintendo kind of skimped on this set with only 24 villagers and 24 special characters.

Plus, if you get duplicates you can share your ACNH addiction with a friend! Seeing your kids eyes light up when you boop the card on a pro controller and someone just shows up in the game, so cool.
