Load up your Nintendo 3DS or WiiU quickly!

When I got this it was on sale, so it was $40 for $50 worth of credits. It was like getting two $5 games for free! Otherwise, it's still handy to be able to buy $50 worth of credits on your 3DS or WiiU and not have to put a credit card into the device. But when you can get these on sale, it's really time to stock up and essentially get free games! Simple to use, just buy and scratch off the code to enter in your system and the credits are available instantly. Not much else to say other than you can only get them in 4 amounts that Nintendo sells, you can't just buy a blank one and add any amount you want.

If you are buying for someone with a Wii U or 3DS you can't go wrong with this. If you can get them when they are on sale this is an even better deal.

These are super-easy to use, and you can enter the code on Wii U or 3DS, then use the balance on either console so long as they're both connected to your Club Nintendo account. Using credit on Wii U still counts for Digital Deluxe Promotion credit as well if you have a Wii U Deluxe set. I have a credit card, so I could just use that to pay on the eShop, but 've found myself buying Nintendo eShop cards lately thanks to reward certificates. When I can't find anything else I want, I'll get one of these. The recent surge of triple-A games on Wii U have made a balance very easy to spend.

This would be just any eShop card, but includes an AR card of Mario. It's not much, but perfect for anyone who likes to mess around with the 3DS camera.

    Great option for eShop purchases

I am generally a fan of prepaid cards such as these for video game consoles. I personally prefer them to avoid having to attach a credit or debit card to console hardware, especially as a number of them have proven to be relatively insecure in the past (i.e. Sony's PlayStation Network security breach). In this case, the $50 value works out nicely in that it nearly covers the cost of a full price game, and at the worst would just need to be paired with one of the smaller value cards to get the rest of the way. Thus, under the current pricing standards, it fits a valuable denomination.

While I would appreciate a $15 eShop card, this is a good gift idea for someone who really needs to save but won't stiff someone on their birthday.

Great way to purchase items on the eshop without connecting a credit card to nintendo. However, accounts do not carry over between 3ds and wiiu.

This is just Nintendo eShop money. There's nothing really special about it. Rarely goes on sale, but sometimes Best Buy does 10% off gaming currency.

It's a gift card and it works exactly like a gift card. My daughter had no trouble redeeming it for the value indicated on the Nintendo eShop.

These cards could not be easier to redeem using the Switch system, and frankly there is a wealth of quality digital content available to anyone looking to expand their Switch library. $10 goes a long way, and even if you're like me and prefer to buy physical games as much as possible, there is no shortage of digitally exclusive material (e.g. "Kamiko" at only $5, the latest "Shovel Knight" chapter as well as "Blaster Master Zero" at only $10 each, etc.) that a card like this can enable you to purchase with ease. Go for it!

What is there to say.. this is how you buy items from the nintendo e shop. Put the code in and it adds the points to your account. It works.

Need to add funds to your eShop balance but don't want to give up your credit card number? Then here's your answer! This really is exactly what it says on the label. All you need to do is scratch the back of the card to reveal the code (a coin works best, ideally a dime or quarter), input that code into the eShop, and done. Also, due to a recent system update, you can now split the funds between your 3DS and WiiU, despite what the card might say. There's a lot of great games on the eShop, so this is a must for any 3DS or WiiU owner, not to mention a great gift to give one!

I buy these prepaid cards for use on my 3DS XL. Not only is it easy to add the value of the prepaid card into my account (through the 3DS), it also has two rather nifty benefits. For one, it's a simple alternative to having to store credit/banking information in my Nintendo account, or having to re-enter that information each time I want to add funds. But probably more importantly, if you are a Best Buy Rewards member, you also get the points, while retaining the flexibility of buying whatever you want with the funds you now have in your Nintendo account. :)

The scratching portion is extremely sensitive and should only be scratched with a coin gently. Other than that, it serves its function.

I bought this so I could buy games off of the Nintendo e-Shop. You may be asking "Squidy, why don't you just use a credit card?" Well, I've got a great answer for you. Actually I don't, but if you don't want to use your credit card to buy games from the e-Shop, this is the way to do it. It's also quite nice to have the option to buy stuff quickly once you put the Nintendo card onto your account. Also, these make amazing gifts/stocking stuffers.

Nintendo has done it again! You can now buy these Eshop Credits to import into your 3DS/Wii U Nintendo account and purchase games digitally! best of all is I was able to buy all the classic NES/SNES/SEGA GENESIS Games that they offer so far through the Eshop and I now have more games than I can even find time to play! But I'm an Uber driver and I go on the road with my band, so with my downtime I no longer am bored waiting, I just play any of my favorite games, whatever mood I'm in that day, it's perfect!!!!!!

I admit that I am a Nintendo fanboy. I love purchasing Nintendo eShop cards so that I can get classic games or DLC for my existing games. They are convenient and safer than typing in your credit card number. If you are a nostalgic gamer who loves to play the classics, then you should buy eShop cards. If you are a gamer who wants all of the DLC possible to enhance your gameplay, then you should buy eShop cards. Make sure that your Wii U or 3DS is connected to the Internet before you purchase the cards. Have fun, and GAME ON!

Good for buying DLC content on the Nintendo eShop or virtual console games. Definitely wait for a sale though as these cards often do.
